The most stable PoE build of all time to invest on?

Righteous Fire has stood the test of time as well. I don’t love the single target but it is cheap, if you don’t do a LL Guardian.

I remembered trying to build one of them few leagues back in std. The prices were all over the place! Not sure about nowdays tho but maybe its worth revisiting.

To be fair I think they're broken due to the stacking of aura effectiveness on them. If they were going to nerf summoners, they should start on the aura stacking problems first imo.

Thank you for the guide also!

Without aura stacking spectre and golem summoners are still super busted.
But with aura stacking it gets into the 90 max resist all/100% chaos immunity close to physical immune immortal region of ridiculousness.

Trust me the damage is still broken for a summoner without aura stacking but as i said summoners and spectres in particular were broken for so long that id be suprised if they would be a long stable surviving build given that they are rather low budget in comparison.

Nice thread! Being a casual player like OP I am also interested in stable builds. In standard context, it's always worth to consider legacy items that already had their stats nerfed. I always look for those when thinking about new builds, because the chance they will be changed retroactively is super low, and they are a good investment currency wise.

Hope the suggested builds help you in finding one that suits your playstyle too! I know the feeling of wanting to stay loyal to 1 character like some MMO game and perfecting it xD
But PoE is not really about that I don't think.

Also, legacy items are fun. Some of them even what determines the build itself. But i'd stick to them only being in std. Also always keep an eye on those potential uniques being legacy haha

Huh if that's the case I wonder how will they change it in the next league patch? If they do that is. Most of the time everything will go full blown circle after a while. For all we know, next league could be SRS meta all over again

I dont know maybe its intentional by GGG that summoners are overpowered.

If my Job at GGG was to make sure to shake up the meta and summoners are part of it then id lower the scaling on all summon gems exceeding level 20 also id drastically lower health and damage of the current top spectres and carrion golems maybe even introduce a multistrike penalty specifically when used for summons.

But since its not my Job id say wait for 3.13 the patch notes are out soon.

Cast on Critical was always strong since its release in all kind of variations.

Performance example T19 100% delirious in 3.12:

This works without aura stacking and we all know what gonna happen in a few days to aura stacking with the patch.

GGG seems to be fine with the sever load from CoC now so no nerfs to be expected i guess plus Harvest league comes back to enable crafting for required gear.

Thanks for the input and vid! Yea it's one of those builds that sadly my potato laptop can't run on haha.

Yea was thinking of making a build that stray away from aura stacking, pretty sure that'll get fixed soon enough.

not even the average gamer desktop can run that without seeing things in a slideshow speed you just hold the button and hope for the best
Ok, something not mentioned so far.

Strength stacking Baron Helm Zombie Master.

Since you willing to invest, you can get strength up past 1500, which is where the build starts to shine.

Relatively tanky, as you have a HUGE life pool with all that strength and the zombies leech for you! You can even go block-mistress of sacrifice-glancing blows for extra tankyness.

Not the best clear, but ok, and Preditor Support on bosses with taunting zombies is a breeze.

You can use support spectres for help with bossing, or some long range clear spectres for better clear.

Not as good as some of the builds already mentioned in this thread, but its a build thats been already nerfed, and thus VERY unlikely to be nerfed again, and its still viable, just needs a lot more currency than it used to.

P.S.
This build is one of my favorite "just walk thru maps, no buttons but flasks, and everything dies" builds.

P.P.S.
How I would build it with 100+ ex to spend.
1500 + strength
Impale zombies with cluster jewels
+1 socketed gems corrupt geofry's chest
Shaper's Touch gloves.
Wand with +1 all skill gems, +1 all minion skill gems, + other minion mods and cast socketed spell when you use a skill
Shield with restore %es on block
Mistress of Sacrifice - Bone Offering - Glancing Blows

This will take your zombies to level 30, and with the huge damage bonus from baron and 1500 strength, they should do enough damage.
Zombies leech for you to keep your life capped.
Zealot's oath for ES regen, and es returned on block to keep your ES mostly capped.
Should have 8k+ life, 6k + ES with high block and taunting minions for a very tanky experience.

Run through maps with only casting Vulnerability on packs, and Signal Prey on bosses.

Spectres (and summoners in general) were always very good, but alos very boring. The best defense in PoE is to not get hit. Summoners have that in their skill - minions can tank and kill everything while you just watch from safety.

Yeah, I certainly did buy support packs to not get banned on Forum when I broke the rules. Definitely not because I liked pixels those packs had in them.

look at me, i spend nothing,.,you spend lots, and they ban you for 3-6 months and laugh at you...dont you see how bad you look?

You seem to be confused what those supporter packs get you. Anyone who gets probated still has everything they paid for. Being banned is the only way you lose them.

You don’t pay for the right to break the rules.

He,for some reason, seems to be proud of himself that he didnt buy any supporter pack after he found out that even people with supporter packs can be banned if they break the rules.

It really undermines his threat of not supporting ever again. What does that sentence look like.....

I've never supported fortunately because you can still get in trouble for breaking the rules, and since it is not a free pass to break the rules, I'll never support again with the support that I've never given!!!
Thanks for all the fish!
