The most stable PoE build of all time to invest on?
IIRC Reave stopped being popular when they made vaal version so you cant have full stacks from vaal all the time, making screen wide AoE impossible,
Not sure if its still the case. |

" Quite the contrary - that's when it got popular. You still have screen wide AOE - here's level 80 with 1 ex investmnent & whole screen AOE at Phoenix. https://youtu.be/lp_RcSLaNBs?t=55 Uploaded an awesome Exsanguinate Freeze Explosion build on the forums - https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/3508506 Last edited by Kiss_Me_Quick#4554 on Jan 3, 2021, 4:58:52 AM

Looks like you still keep 8 stacks, 4 normal and 4 vaal, at all time. So Reave is back to what it was before (Im pretty sure for at least one league we couldnt have 8 stacks all the time)

" Performance video of Dominating Blow in T19 100% Delirious map without Headhunter please if you really think it fits the from OP requested long term investment in standard worth it category. (Hint: its not) |

i tried more than once dominating blow but always got frustrated after level 80
this skill was made for masochists, clunkier than infernal blow smh |

I keep meaning to play a Dom Blow build but i can't work out how to get the necessary melee defence, minion nodes and personal damage to make it actually work. You need like 20 more passives than a regular tree they have to come from somewhere :/

Toxic rain (mines or not)
Blade vortex Baron Brands(So if a brand gets nerfed you put another one ^^') Retch Melee. It is a bit hypster but the Retch gives lots of dps and with high investment you would end up with a good boss killer and attacks that give decent clear Windripper MFer so you can solo farm effectively while stacking your syrius. It's fast and you'll get more shit than playing an everyday char (it's macro) Last edited by galuf#4435 on Jan 3, 2021, 12:44:37 PM

" If you start as pantsless old man you can pull it off and get some partial conversion so you can pick up the juicy element damage nodes in the left armpit of the tree. You take guardian ascendancy, Harmony of Purpose, Radiant Crusade, Unwavering Crusade, and a fourth of your choice depending on your preferred defense package. If you're all-in on minions you may want to forgo aura nonsense except for say, Hatred or Haste/Vaal Haste and that makes Bastion of Hope a better choice than the mana guardian default Radiant Faith. It lets you get mini Aegis without taking your defences with it. Dip down for melee wep speed accuracy and whatnot. Resolute Technique, extra endurance charges, etc. all help. Thanks to all that have shared their ideas in here. It is much appreciated.
At the moment personally, I'm leaning more towards 2 builds, a summoner (golem/zombie), and melee build (either reave or flicker). Changed my mind on flicker after seeing some vids on it xD. But also am a fan of reave playstyle. Tough decisions to make before the new league starts. Perhaps some tests are needed in std. All in all, seems like even if these skills were to be tweaked, the core build mechanics should still be somewhat the same and viable. Heck, they've been very strong builds since as long as I can remember! "Every force you create has an echo, your own bad energy will be your undoing"

Keep in mind that even with insane budget Flicker struggles with bosses.
