Calling it now: endless delve will be boring

Crafting gear with what you pick up is enough.
Also, I've seen a lot of people don't realize this: there are nodes on the tree that give resistances. |

" for real idk why they didn't want us to have a crafting bench that thing is so good to help fix resistances on ok-ish leveling rares you find on first char of a league |

" Fair enough, that's probably accurate from that point of view. Of course, while I suppose it's technically a 'race', in practicality it's filler content for the general community, and the racing aspect is only relevant to a tiny proportion of participants. For the 99+% of the people in the league, it's good that they made it a week so people can play around work/school/etc. and have time to hit whatever level they want for the reward chance. If they want to run this as a race that makes sense to watch then they should set it up for a limited time and do it by invitation or have some sort of qualifying event. |

If the mine was was an alternative to "story" leveling, ssf-mine would beat trade-campaign 100% of the time. I enjoyed mine so much more.

I played Endless Delve until almost level 80, but I just couldn't handle it any more. For me, it exposed a few of the worst flaws in PoE.
Firstly, and I know I'm not revealing anything earthshattering here, but the basic raw drops in this game really suck. I made it to level 78 and not even one single 5-link of any kind dropped. Many players will point out "you don't need a 5-link to play", which is pedantically true, but I play the game to have fun, and approaching level 80 on a 4-link is not fun to me. But even more generally, not speaking specifically if links, the loot that drops just... sucks. Secondly, orb-crafting, the only way we had to Thirdly, Delve highlights the "nothing kills you except for one-shots" problem that plagues PoE. Were you able to, against all odds, finally gear yourself up to max resistances, get some life, and maybe a few other layers of defense? It doesn't matter... You *will* get randomly one-shot on a semi-regular basis. The only defense to this is to play timidly and be very over-leveled. Again, not my idea of fun. So that is why Endless Delve failed to appeal to me personally. I just found it more painful than fun. I enjoyed Mayhem much more. - here's my sig

" I'm like 30 over max and 30 positive chaos res with no shield. Dual wield (harder to max). SSF I've never had issue. Makes it a little harder no bench then again you got fossils. Use them.. you can't take them with you. As far as league... I have not played since metamorph...having a lot of fun. Git R Dun! Last edited by Aim_Deep#3474 on Dec 13, 2020, 12:49:20 PM
