Calling it now: endless delve will be boring

everyone: YES YES YES fuck yea baby delve was the shit back in the day this is gonna be the amazing

reality: delve is outdated and a shell of what it once was, you'll get sick of it by day 3

It'd be cool if Mojang/MS and GGG did a cross-promotion thing where the Caves & Cliffs update brought 12 or so new biomes or depth zones to Delve, as well as Minecraft.

Minecraft is about to get a major update to the way caves form. There's a blind, echosensitive boss in the deeps called the Warden, who turns out the lights (remind you of anyone in delve?)

They also have cool musical crystals, new ores, and a self-sustaining (no trips to the surface) way to fuel minecarts.

What if Delve introduced several new biomes with new monsters that dropped small amounts of sulphite, or made music when you hit them, or grew cool bioluminescent doohickeys that glowed when you stepped on them, instead of wasting flares? How about letting Aul take up residence in Minecraft's crystal caverns or geodes, listening to the music of the growing crystals until some dognozzle comes along and starts mining the things?

How about a hopper minecart or a fossil taxi in case of unexpected death? You die, the fossils are on the ground. The minecart will taxi any items left on the ground to the previous point, using up that much sulphite, and you can return and collect them at that node. Yes, for just a few thousand sulphite, you can taxi your fossils back over your corpse to safety.

Since it's SSF, I don't expect it to be very popular. Maybe I'll give it a try, but I doubt I'll play until lvl 90+.

I have a tiny hope that maybe, just maybe it will be a testing ground and that GGG considers it as an alternative leveling method instead of the acts in the future.
i think it will be fun and if not then there is still 2 more events besides the endless delve. i wish it wasnt SSF though
limited access to items like new influence bases, any form of bench crafting, div cards etc. and no trading on top
its gonna be great
it's a forced SSF event that tries to minimize the servers usage.. there's absolute nothing of 99.9% of the game just niko and a bunch of NPCs and delving.. some people love it, personally not a massive fan of SSF yet perhaps if I decide to even play poe on december I will see how SSF looks like.

poe0.2/10. Nuff said.
I called that back in October when ppl were getting giddy about it. At least they had the sense to make it SSF.
