Calling it now: endless delve will be boring

I like delve a lot and only play SSF anyway, but it seems like a weird combination - ONLY delve available and it lasts ONLY a week.
You don't really get a lot of interesting gear inside of delve these days compared to other stuff you could do, that's my experience at least.
So I would need more time to make a fun character with just delve available. I doubt a week is enough for me to make anything half decent and fun to play.

I would prefer if these events run side by side, people that like delve can play endless delve for those few weeks and others can play the other thing.

Delve can be very lucrative with endless sulphite for STD farmers due to fossils but if you don't do fossil farming, you're playing in hobo mode which makes the fact that it's voided even worse.
You get out of the poverty tier after a week of nolifing which by then the league is already over.
I won't be participating.

The lack of gear (build specific items esp.) will make this one kinda borring. Unless unique item drop rates are increased and you can also get all uniques in delve (like shaper, atziri, etc. items) - it will be 7 days of delving lvl 73 nodes with yellow gear chracters on 4-5 links.

Not even PoE 2 would drag me away from Cyberpunk. Hell, not even wild... Ok, maybe wild horses could drag me away. But I'm fairly burnt out on PoE these days. Can't find a single melee skill that peaks my interest, and as I'm a man - and real men play melee, I need a break until a melee skill peaks my interest again.

Seems like a really good time to take a break. A really really good time.

Its a different challenge than regular PoE, but one worth trying.

Those of you who havent done SSF... hmm yeah it will be as hard as you think or more so.

There will be lots of sideways hunting as you search for dropped gear thats actually useful.

Not sure if people will actually go as deep as normal due to lack of trade and funds. WHich will matter more, gear or infinite sulfite.
