I don't think these events are meant to compete with Cyberpunk, they're meant to give people that choose to play PoE over Cyberpunk something to do as they've already delayed the upcoming league to avoid overlapping with Cyberpunk's launch.

Captain obvious. It will be boring for everyone who isnt hardocre fan of Delve. Personally I skip delve even in normal leagues. Even the little delve you usually can encounter normally is more than enough for me to get bored.

I think some of this thread, at least those of us who thought about it more than a second, are saying that even people who like Delve now will be bored of this sooner than they think. Why?

Because when some of these people anticipate the event, they're imagining their CURRENT favorite character and thinking how fun it would be. But they aren't accounting for just how fragile and weak of a shell of a character they will have in this event given the limitations.

The most dedicated and lucky will pull off some amazing characters I'm sure. But a lot of people are in line to get their hopes up and get very frustrated when their character is hard stuck at a level that isn't high enough for them, and they won't be thrilled about how long they have to Delve horizontal to improve their guy.

Events like this are more for the streamers to show their stuff. With all items going away at the end, I see very little reason to hit it heavy going in.

Well, if I decide to go Delving, again, I will put on my full Armour and Delving Set and start... well... Delving. Yes, in case anyone wondered about Armour & Delving set I´m referring to, it is the original Delving Supporter Pack Set. Oh yeah, and Dbl set of Pets even. Yaayyy.

I'm looking forward, at least we skip the stupid act leveling.

Can't be anywhere near as boring as the current mayhem-shit.

I love delving. I will love the event. Actually, I will make a perma delvel league.

The internal testers at GGG were right. This would be much more compelling as a shorter race. Just thought I'd mention that since usually the only context you hear about their QA is negative.

A range of 1-48 hours seems like the sweet spot for this event.
