Multiboxing rules the world!!! (the world of GGG)

You know what - i'm inclined to think multiboxing should be perma banned. It's basically pay to win, have the gear irl and have an edge over all others, etc.

And that's only one way of looking at it, but in the end all that matters is that they play the game in a way it was not intended, ruining the game economy for those who want to play the game without abusing loopholes.

I know there has always been a great deal of controversy surrounding multiboxing, but it would be great if someone could actually lead that direction and show all others that it is not tolerated, by taking means to detect and ban those who are doing it.

Im not sure I read that correctly. Did you just say pay to win in a free game. lol

Also its accepted and legal in nearly every other game out there that its possible in.
Also tell me what banning them does. They have already offloaded any currency and items to a seperate account thats not used to box. So if you ban them they just make new free accounts and continue. You cannot stop the boxxers. They dont get stopped in pay to play games they definately arent gonna be stopped in a free game.

Well, a chat filter to detect URLs would be a great start. A captcha, lvl limit for chat, or some other method to prevent instant account creation -> spam would also be nice.

Instead of fix Desync, how about just make it a little less frequent. I'm not saying one can completely solve either of these issues, however these are problems that are known to exist. As well as impact every player.

It's irrelevant if one guy is using it or a hundred. It's unfair and should be despised. One guy robbing banks and getting away with it may not ruin the economy. But it's still wrong. And it seems that I wasn't clear enough, I'm not defending multiboxing, I'm saying that it's far from ruining the game. In any case, you have to be very naive to believe that making it against the ToS will stop people from doing it. Criminals don't follow the laws, what makes you think that cheaters follow the rules?

Anyways, you can argue all you want, but I believe that we can all see GGG's stand on the matter, so your opinions don't really matter much. If multiboxers ruin your fun I feel sorry for you son, I got 99 problems but multiboxing ain't one.

multiboxing existed for year and will keep that way noone can stop it (not even mighty multi milion dollar companies)...as long as multiboxing is not affecting MY GAMES i am fine with that.....

that's why they ban multiboxers in MMOs when it is done in open field....they interfere with other's gameplay which is bad for business if they can hide in an instance for endless years none bothers really

also remember we talk about multiboxing not botting (playing char w/o someone being present)

Id be interested to know which MMO's they ban boxxers in. Ive played just about everyone released and nearly all of them all you to multibox. Not bot mind you but multibox which is much different.

Where did you get the idea that more of the same item = higher prices? What sort of mental gymnastics did you have to play to achieve that conclusion. If anything multi-boxing decreases the prices of items. I'd bet that they wouldn't be 1/4 as many unique gold rings or dream fragments as they are now.
