Kinda becomes everyone's business when said guy starts paying double and triple prices for things, and it's not only that one guy.

I think that it was pretty clear that I paid pretty much the exact same for the exalt I bought yesterday than for the one I bought a week ago.
Regardless, you keep blaming inflation on multiboxers and RMT sites when in reality you have no clue at all, not even a remote idea, about how many orbs these sites and 'cheaters' insert into the game's economy each day. And yes, the amount matters. One person multiboxing in a game with thousands of players will have close to 0 impact on the economy. Without having those numbers this is nothing more than a rant with no base other than your hate for multiboxers.

Inflation comes naturally, specially in a league like default. There's nothing you can do about it without changing core mechanics of the game. And you can't blame it on anyone without numbers or evidence to back that up.

So everyone who can outbid you, or who is willing to overpay for an item because of whatever reasons must be a multiboxer. Seems reasonable enough.

See, there's a problem with this. You can't look at the history of multi box usage. This is what's wrong with everyone who is claiming that it ruins the economy. You have no statistics, no numbers, no evidence of any kind to show how many people do it, which means you cannot possibly know what effect it has on the economy.

This is also another false statement. Just because you say that multiboxers farm 6 times faster, or get 6 times more currency doesn't make it true. I've yet to see any video of anyone multiboxing efficiently. Best I've seen so far was a guy streaming it, and he was only using 2 characters at the same time. We've already seen the video in this thread where the guy multiboxing 4 characters doesn't even make it to the 2 minute mark without managing to desync all his characters.


In the end we keep going back to the same 2 issues that people who are so strongly opposed to multiboxing have yet to clear:

1) Since you don't know what percentage of the daily amount of currency that's injected into the economy comes from multiboxers, why do you feel confident in jumping to the conclusion that they affect the economy so much? Why do you assume that they have any impact without having any evidence to back your assumptions?

2) Where is the evidence that shows how multiboxing is much more efficient than anything else?

I think its best if we just sit back and let GGG handle everything, they want to let people who really want to multibox for fun to play this game. They don't want people exploiting that system though and feel its a nessecity to multibox.

They have already adressed the issue in the last patch, i'm sure they have more in store.


The best we can do is just put this out of our minds for now, although i have lost alot of appeal outside of races because of this,but this is mostly just because im a noob with no time.

If you want to progress in this game, get good, learn endgame, make friends, work together. You won't need to multibox.

Kripp and many other groups have already proven this.

Multiboxing seems like legalized cheating. Don't know how else you can spin it. You get far more loot (without magic find) and lvl multiple characters at the same time. How could that not be considered cheating?

I'm surprised I got pretty far in this topic without resorting to, "Reading comprehension fail.".
