Multiboxing rules the world!!! (the world of GGG)
Impact on the economy or not, MB represents an unfair advantage (no, telling us to just do it ourselves is not a valid answer).
It's irrelevant if one guy is using it or a hundred. It's unfair and should be despised. One guy robbing banks and getting away with it may not ruin the economy. But it's still wrong. One guy killing people and getting away with it, might not threaten the survival of the human species - but it's still wrong. The fact that it's defended at all is nothing short of sad. " when reading some of the defenders it feels the same when the multiboxers defended MBing in the d3 forums really saddens me |

" a complete wipe is needed except for chars and their reached level... ....although i wouldn't mind a complete wipe at all. “Human decency is not derived from religion. It precedes it.”

tl;dr:
if somebody likes a method or technique, even if it happens to be fundamentally broken, they will swiftly react to defend it if they feel that it might come under any threat. They'll use every method they can to stop it. QQ threads before, QQ threads after, "appeals" to the developers, threatening to (and often carrying out their threats) ragequit, Attempt to start using illegal hacks/scripts and cheats, and so forth. It's human nature to want an easy way out when doing something, and that's not likely to change any time sooner. So here you have it in a nutshell. Regards. 1337 21gn17ur3

" Time and time again in every game that boxxing exits it has been shown that less than 1% of the popultaion is doing it, and time and time again in every game that its legal in (which is all of them) the devs that there is minimal impact on the economy.(this is most likely incorrect in POE though. I believe that their is an impact in poe. That being said. Its not gonna be changed and eventually there will be a big post by GGG stating Legal. Just as in all the other games. For most other games there is no unfair advantage for boxxing. For example you need 6k for fast flying mounts in WOW. I 5 boxxed there and it cost me 36k for fast flying mounts. |

There's an easy way to fight multiboxing. Other games have done it too.
Just make sure only 1 account can be logged in from the same mac address. This way households with 2 people that play the game could still play together. It just means 2 people can't be playing at the same time on the same computer. Of course there is still a way around this, but it isn't really viable. If you use VMware or another virtual machine emulator you could still multibox. The problem is though that most virtual machine emulators have little to no graphics acceleration. The game couldn't be played on a VM. It really only works with games that don't depend on graphics at all, like really old games. |

" That has never worked for any game. And vm ware is not needed to get around such policy. All the boxxing programs have this defeat built right into them. Last edited by Kissell13#0043 on Mar 30, 2013, 11:06:37 AM

Considering I haven't even seen one guy doing it, and actually being efficient with it.
I just don't care. Fix desync, stop the trade spam for RMT. |

" Give us the solution for desynch o master programmers. Seeing as its never been fixed in any arpg, whats your solution. Then after that give us the solution for RMT spam. Seeing as they can just create a new free account the second they are banned.. Patiently awaiting all the wisdom to start rolling in. Last edited by Kissell13#0043 on Mar 30, 2013, 11:28:14 AM
