Surprised no one is talking about the newest GGG info on Harvest going core in 3.13

Jesus this thread. A couple of things.

1. You CANNOT quote a GGG employee without having a PoE thread tied to it where they actually commented. You can easily get banned for impersonating or pretending a GGG employee said something somewhere else, whether it's reddit, a podcast, vidoc, or stream interview. Again, you can legit be banned for this. You need to do what the OP did and link the source. That's it.

2. Bex doesn't have a NDA for this kind of thing. She is in a leadership role. Sure, she can accidently leak or spoil something, but she isn't in violation of her employment conditions. (she may have a non-compete clause, but she isn't getting sued because she said harvest is going core LMFAO)

3. As GGG says at the end of every league, any part of any league mechanic can reappear at anytime. Nothing is set in stone development wise, and this possibility with Harvest was mentioned as the league ended.

Basically this entire thread is boring nothing-burger that not only violated a few forum guidelines, but also included false information, and a lack of understanding how league mechanic implementation works in the first place.

Given how easy it is to manipulate quotes on this forum, I'm amazed it's taken this long. I get the need to edit what you quote (as I did just now) but that there is and never has been any GGG rule against mischaracterisation of other forum users through excessive misquoting/quote manipulation is something that's baffled me for damn near 9 years now.

And yet they'll come down on a name-and-shame post using made-up bot names like a tonne of Kiwi bricks. As if you can even name-and-shame bots to begin with. Youfuckinwot.

You're certainly entitled to your opinion that it's boring, but given the passion with which two threads raged on here for months, I'm more than justified at being surprised to not see this on the front page at all when I checked here.

You are right to call out the one guy for possibly lying about what Bex said, but don't insinuate my OP into the idea that this thread violates guidelines or includes false information or misunderstands how leagues get implemented. The 'entire thread' doesn't do that.

I did indicate AND UNDERLINE that you did it exactly right.

There is indeed false info in this thread, and a few forum violations.

As far as the actual content is concerned. I suppose your right that maybe some people are really excited that something that could have always gone core, has gone core. Man, quarantine really has set the bar low...

Is this really accurate? I lean towards taking your word for it, but I do think if I started using Chris' GGG Yellow Block forum post format, and summarizing or misquoting or downright making shit up, that would fall under the CoC for "impersonating" a GGG employee. Maybe that's a loose interpretation, but I can't imagine support would allow us to do that. No?

You assume that she doesn't. I'd also assume that, but like you I don't know 100% for sure as I'm neither Bex nor her employer.

As much as I hated Harvest, I absolutely don't mind that it goes core. What I hated is that the league was 100% crafted based. For people who don't like to craft there was absolutely nothing.

I just hope they won't make an other crafting league after this. Harvest should really be enough.

Whats to hate about being able to actually make good items instead of relying on rng or spending 200ex to well gear a char.
If you didn't want to craft you could still make bank selling seeds. I see no downside to this.

I don't mind getting some of the crafting options added, but if the garden itself gets added I won't be around anymore.
