Surprised no one is talking about the newest GGG info on Harvest going core in 3.13

Given the very loud backlash from the standard mirror service community I doubt they're going to leave anything besides elemental resistance change crafts and divines in the game.

They don't care about Standard, they never did - I really hope they don't now listen to that 0.01% of the Standard player base. That'd be extraordinarily.... dumb.

Besides, there are still lots of legacy items to be mirrored in Standard.
Remove Horticrafting station storage limit.
Items that have been Harvest-crafted need to be account-bound, and Seeds made untradeable, so that players can't buy crafts or sell crafts.

Lore wise, it can be explained that the seeds are planted by you, so the lifeforce infused into the item locks it to you.

Without seed or craft trading, it would be much harder to craft 6xT1 items.
It was so easy because players could just brute-force mods by buying hundreds of crafts/thousands of seeds.

So , if I enjoy harvest crafting but I don't want to farm the seeds and focus on other stuff to get currency I cannot access the harvest crafting ?

Seems strange logic as opposed to what we have now.

If everyone has access to the same resources , mirror tier won't be mirror tier. Hence people who brute-force would estimate the correct value of the item based on how many tries / % chances it took to get there.

Not like slam 300ex items at league end just because they managed to hit some stuff along the way and without harvest it would be almost impossible to hit the same stuff.

I do not know how they are reforging the Harvest league but it will be a nice addition.

They can just add Harvest Scarabs (which would be tradeable) that increases Seed drops in Maps.

It would be the same as Delve, Sulphite is untradeable and account bound. But Sulphite Scarabs can give you more Sulphite.

Yeah but then you would have to farm specifically that thing, the scarabs would be skyrocket high price and so on.

Would still make sense but..

P.S I really do not know how they can implement harvest without crashing the economy , still having mirror tier items still worth and making them somehow mediocre to be achieved. But time will tell.

Harvest league was nice ... I even enjoyed planting the seeds and planning the garden. RNG in getting Seeds? Way better than farming hours, days, weeks for rng exalt meta craft spamming with zero results.

To be honest - most players will never experience such crafting. I know enough people struggeling to get enough currency for some of their base equipment - so crafting is never a thing for them. Harvest can - finally - make this game more accessable for a lot of people.

Guess those who don't want Harvest to be core are item flipper and people who specify their value by having a lot of currency and having a lot of pricy things to sell. It's the capitalism in poe - a small percentage with high incomes but most player are just average geared and average wealthy people. Harvest will change that - imho this is really really good. People fear change - especially those within the small percentage of wealth in poe.

Let's all think for a moment on why no one was talking about it on GGG's official forum. perhaps, and this is just a completely wild guess, but perhaps the reason no one was previously talking about this here on GGG's official forum is because the devs don't care to post these things on their official forum?

Leaving their loyal customers & fans in the dark.

It's been an issue since 2013 and I don't see it changing anytime soon.
