Trade bots are a bit of a gray area IMHO...
I know several people who uses bot on a secondary account to auto-trade stuff, so they can play in peace.
I started playing SSF because EVERYTIME I was in the mines or in the labyrinth a guy pop up asking to buy something, and they are ALWAYS in a hurry XD
Trading can be fun, but not if you have to drop all you are doing to do so. Then the more stuff you have for sale, the more time you have to spend at the hideout trading and less playing... If I wanted to be a stock broker I would do so instead of playing poe :D
This is both: theses characters are farming chaos, probably chaos recipe or something, then buy exalts because they are short of space with 4 tabs.
This gone insane.
Farming low level currency with bots is something that has been around for a while... especially RMT, they make like level 1 characters to farm low level instance for alts, then trade the alts for chaos (and farm chaos with the vendor recipe), then make ex with all that. Then with all this currency they either sell it or buy items to sell.
They can hardly be stopped, because you can make a 6x character in like 1 hour, and if they ban that account, you just make another and another and another, and even if they ban the IP they can use several tools to mask it or vpn to change it.
Unfortunately it's a complicate problem that many games have and there is only few things that ban can solve...
The only "definitive" solutions are like the one they did on diablo 3: closing the trade and you can only trade with your party members for like 1 hour from the item drop.
Or another solution I've seen around was to make the items ridiculously easy to find that noone in his right mind would ever think of spending real money to buy them.
In both cases tho there are serious drawbacks, but so there are in the current system where people can spend real money to avoid farming stuff and then get bored of the game after 1 hour since they have the top items and nothing left to do :D

Reality is different, i'm playing since a while and i did all leagues: bots were never buying exalts like that before. It's simple: game became famous and is now advanced bot coding worthy. It's new; it's WORSE.

no.
it is the existence of builds like the one you posted in the OP (one finger summoner builds) that made bots popular. POE playerbase is stagnant since 2017, growth is rather minimal (excluding China ofc) so thats not it.
game degenerated into a state where walking simulator is an actual build. remove these builds from the game and bots go away - try to make a bot that plays melee or mines..
summoner? entire build requires ONE action to work. that is bots heaven (note - we are not talking about endgame-viable summoners, these can be very active playstyle. i mean the 'setup spectrs, golem, AG, farm low level maps because nothing can touch you')
i know it might be hard to accept, but summoner playstyle and archetype's strength is actually making botting more viable than ever. if a build is so easy to play that any human can do it..

Summoners are not the only one (even tho with cluster that double the minons damage they become seriously strong), but for low level maps there are also builds that uses RF for example where you simply have to walk around and everything dies :D
But in general there are plenty of choices even if they nerf the summoners... where there is money to make, there is always people that finds a way to make it :D

Poe got "game of the year" in 2019. You may also check: how reliable ? Does it worth it to code something (a bot) for this ? Then yes in very last years, even with the acquisition by a Chinese giant, POE became a solid market.
And now try to sell 1 exalt.

you still pretend that necromancers/summoners are not part of the problem. thats pure denial. they are, existence of builds that require no functional brain cells == bots. simple as that
meanwhile, i find it unfair that one finger summoners earn currency faster, cost less to setup and are easier to play than melee builds.. try one sometime, youll see what i talk about
bot summoners have it easier than human summoners that have it easer than human non-summoners.. it is a chain of unfairness (if we stick to your description of a problem)
oh, and i can sell exalt no problem. you dont like the price? dont be a part of the problem and ask GGG to nerf summoners so these are not that easy to play. you want less bots? summoner builds seriously are one of the biggest part of the problem.

Go shitpost elsewhere.
That is not a shitpost, because you haven't made any other argument than "bots are bad"...

Who needs an 'argument' to conclude that which 2 brain-cells could accomplish over morning coffee?
Anyone that can't see the negative impact they have, is likely the same people utilizing their 'services'.

So your argument is that... "bots are bad"?
(yes, you didn't make any other argument either...)

It's been explained to death over the years...
I have no interest in wasting my time detailing it because you can't be bothered.
It's clear who doesn't think they are a problem and their motivation.
