BOTS are farming chaos and then buy your exalts, explanation inside, it's TERRIFIC. FIX THIS PLEASE.
nb: These bots are farming chaos and then buying exalts, so it's not "only transactions" ...
Path of exile is getting more and more destroyed by bots, they can have russian, chinese, or korean names, it can also be language names impersonation in anyway. Those are buying the exalts i had hard to time to get with their chaos bots ! Summoners or guardians with 1-3 challenge, buying exalts with the insulting way of putting the chaos payment randomly presented in tradescreen with a speed only a bot could do ! Cancelling trade and they immediately retry, trying to engage conversation with them doesn't work ofc. Was selling few dozens of exalts and noticed that like 2/3 of buyers were acting this way !!! Yes 2/3 of "players" on like the hundred of wispers i received... BOTS! I tried to ignore, but seems there's thousands of them ! Selling my exalts to ones with 5+ challenges, with a regular name, presenting chaos normally was what i did at the end, i hope anyone will do the same. Path of exile is DEAD. Someone do a topic on reddit since GGG doesn't give a fuck about this section. Last edited by Universalis#5776 on Oct 8, 2020, 4:09:09 PM Last bumped on Oct 8, 2020, 4:09:56 PM

Trading with bots is bad because they put the chaos in the trade window wierd? Trading with bots is bad because they want to buy what your selling...Quickly? I see why ggg would have a problem with it, i don't see how it is a problem for you

This is funny :D OP complains about bots with 0-3 league challenges and here's he posts from an account with 0 challenges :)
Anyway, I too would better waste time waiting for person-played character to respond to trade my currency with not the best ratio. I can't imagine trading with a bot, i would become a shame to my family. Last edited by aefoa#3559 on Oct 6, 2020, 6:01:57 AM

" Seems you need some intellectual support: it's bad because of a total and exposed impunity (trading) of cheating the game with bots. " Your post is spam, useless. |

Some of you keep forgetting why bots flip currency.
It's not for them to improve their gear. It's for them to RMT the flipped currnecy away on their websites, that are advertised even on gamepedia and other useful websites for PoE. Sitting in HO spamming alts for 4 hours straight is peak PoE gameplay. Thanks, Chris. Last edited by Ydoum#5726 on Oct 6, 2020, 7:31:55 AM

" In a free market their would be nothing wrong with this, thus i have little reason to care. Hell from what you say they even support third party sites more than ggg does so overall it is a benefit to the player. |

" Wait, you are saying RMT and thus pay2win is good for me as a player? You can't be saying that, right? Please explain. RMT is pay2win, and it is bad. Bots must be fought. Remove Horticrafting station storage limit.

" GGG creates the balance of the game, not 3rd party sellers. If it's pay to win, removal of the bots will just make it impossible to win. |

" How about making the game fun? I don't need to "win" the game, whatever that means, as long as I am having fun. And you know what is pretty anti-fun? Counting your hard earned scraps of currency and calculating what item you wish to try and roll the dice for before you have to farm X hours on average for another try at crafting. Abolition of gold in favor of crafting currency was brilliant idea, but lately currency scarcity takes a lot of fun out of the game. Harvest with its plentiful crafting currency that was not trade currency showed us all exactly that. We want to have fun slamming exalts on our gear without having to feel the weight of wasting sometimes few days worth of rng farming. |
