" Well, let's be realistic here. Of course, bots will 'feel' dominant as there are probably only 100k~ players total... the rest is, well... you know. As well as being 95% of trade interaction, likely being the only outside interaction most people get. Again, they are ONLY here because people continue to give them money. best method of getting rid of bots is making gameplay complex - bots wont manage well.
sadly, we have necromancers in this game - builds you can play with one finger. start with fixing this issue and bot numbers will dwindle there is a reason why most bots are necromancers/guardians. guess what that reason is. oh, and 'normal players' wont notice them either way. bots make cheap-yet-good gear cheaper while making top-end stuff more expensive. normal players dont care about the top-end yet they happily buy the cheap stuff because that is all they need. not to mention that POEs trade system is so bad people find bots the only way to make it manageable |

Trade bots are a bit of a gray area IMHO...
I know several people who uses bot on a secondary account to auto-trade stuff, so they can play in peace. I started playing SSF because EVERYTIME I was in the mines or in the labyrinth a guy pop up asking to buy something, and they are ALWAYS in a hurry XD Trading can be fun, but not if you have to drop all you are doing to do so. Then the more stuff you have for sale, the more time you have to spend at the hideout trading and less playing...
