POE 3.12 HEIST league is BAD

Agreed. Adding collision to Rogue Harbour was a mind boggling decision. But they are addressing that.
Another league example of a good concept but ruined by the implementation.

We just again have to wait they fix the issues before we can enjoy it as they intended.

I just hope when that time comes people are still here & not yet frustrated, bored, or gave up early again with the league.

For now, there's a lot of things I don't like about the league mechanics but I believe that those can be fixed & some of them they already promised. The league has a promising concept so I might just stick for a while, maybe just play the "standard" mapping & avoid the Heist mechanic until they fix it. But I don't know until when I could do that before I get bored again, & move on to something else.

PROBLEM IS ONE SHOT MECHANICS

this issue NEVER TRYED TO BE SOLVED for years

this is why every league become annoying
legion monsters one shoting
delirium monsters one shoting
and now welcome to HEIST where monsters one shoting

Because thats the only way you can actualy die. PoE has broken recovery effects. You would have to be able to regain 5% of your health per second, maybe 10% with huge investment (like 500ex +) for that to not be an issue. Only then you can think of not having one-shots but then nobody would play this game.
Ok maybe I'm being weird here but oneshots were never really a "problem" for me. I mean that getting one shot once per hours let's say because of some insane combination of mods on a map and you making a mistake can sometimes draw a laugh from me like "oh shit, that was insane". But when it happens all of the time and with every room you are basically rolling a dice wether or not you will survive and you have everything you picked up at stake - now this is not fun.

Having to run fast because monsters that deal a lot of damage are constantly spawning only to be stopped for an x ammount of time waiting for a door to open - now I admit this is arguable but for me - not fun at all.

I don't have the issue with repetetiveness itself but mind you that even in a map you rarely have to run back exactly the samy way - if you do a linear map like Strand or Terrace you just clear everything in one go and move on to the boss. With a more open map like Oasis or Glacier you swipe down/up or left/right and that's it. But here - you have to run EXACTLY the same way back WHILE being interrupted by doors closing down on you. Maybe having a different escape route? Some Grand Heists already do that where you can unlock alternative escape routes and that is great but realistically we are going to be doing a lot of regular ones. And losing an exalt because you got randomly oneshot before even entering the room is... A tiny little bit fucking ridiculous.

It's like everytime I enter a heist I'm in a state of constant stress - even if I drop something good I will have to consider just abandoning the heist right there just to save the drop or risk losing it for potentialy greater gain. It's kind of like gambling. And some people like gambling. I don't. And I don't like to play in stress - I have enough of that at work.

On a sidenote - give me my SST back.

@TOP
Mana stacking Agnostic anyone?

adding collision to rogue harbour is actually the most confusing decision i've seen them do other towns don't have it why should rogue harbor have it?? makes no sense
I think it's great.

But where do you draw the line?. The discrepancy between players is so vast that you cant say what is to much. You are getting one shoted but then comes a mana guardian or jugg or glad that wont even feel it. The problem is much more complex then "one shot bad, GGG fix". And having everything at stake is the best thing they could introduce, it makes you care.
as a summoner i get to like 50% alert level just by moving around, even without opening any chests, so usual contract gives me basically like 2 trash chests or maybe 1 big chest and thats all i can get, and sometimes alert levels raises significantly with no obvious (for me) reasons.

well, i can thank developers for providing alternatives for people who dont enjoy heists (dont enjoy standing near the door waiting for npc to break it). at least i suppose you will be able to bulk sell 81+ ilvl contracts & blueprints using trade discord to make consistent profit. like seeds trading in harvest.
dead game
bring back 3.13

I'm a selfish bastard to the line is at "when I don't have fun".

I'm not trying to solve GGG's problems here - merely saying how this looks from my perspective. Even Juggs get oneshot in heists - and that's crazy. Then again you could say "Just go full block and spell block" but then it limits what you can do. It most certainly is a more complex issue for sure but when it ain't fun for me it ain't fun for me. That's what I was saying.

Yes, it makes me care. Care enough to stop doing heists. I'll do maps, delves, blights and once again ignore mechanics that are too tedious or frustrating to deal with. And I'm not the only one. And yet I'm still playing the game.
