POE 3.12 HEIST league is BAD

How is this different then doing maps? You open the map , run to the boss killing mobs in your path , kill the boss ,exit map, put the loot in stash , repeat.

Bc in maps if you die, you have portals to go back and finish the area AND you don't lose all your loot you picked up.

Just did a grand heist with some nice loot and what do you know, somehow got one shot trying to escape by the monsters waiting behind a door while I was behind the wall and my minions were trying to kill them. Somehow whatever hit me curved or just simply went through the wall. No way anything at a straight angle could of hit me from where I was.

My next heist, it crashed.

Awesome stuff. Way to push out players with very harsh mechanics.

It's mind boggling the types of design decisions GGG has made recently. The Grove was an absolute disaster. And here we are again, with Heist, the same old poorly implemented designs, layouts, and mechanics. If it wasn't for the GGG artists and musicians, I'd quit the game already.

I'm glad that I'm not the only one who thought that these mobs deal way too much damage. I got really irritated about it earlier in the day that I rage quit for the day. I was convinced that it was my build being crap (this is the first time I've made my own build with a brand new skill in a few leagues) so I started another character.

GGG should really think rebalancing the heist guards and mobs a little.

Great concept, thats basically about it for the league.

Everything else is just bad.

I really want to enjoy this league but seems like a waste of time to me.

EDIT: Also, being bodyblocked or trying to reach blocked chests is the biggest cancer I've ever encountered.


I am playing Golementalist and have found that Convocation reduces alert level increase significantly. I run, flame dash, convocation. This works well.

I also tried to unsummon minions and sneak. But I found I aggro almost as many guards as I do with minions because of guard aggro range and my henchmen walking were they please.
