I believe Vulkan is especially good to be considered as an alternative. My GPU is quite old and even if it should run the game at least at 60fps with no problem, the game still has a bunch of instability issues and it can easily tank at 0 fps in a split second. Based on my experience, Vulkan has mostly a bit less FPS, but it is a lot more stable...and I don't get fps freezing anymore. Unless you have a beast of a GPU to compensate when the game goes monkey, Vulkan should be a better alternative. This needs to be tested though...I am sure every computer has different results. all i can say it vulkan is shit for me. DX i can do 4k max settings if i pick the worst settings i get still spikes when cocing around n shit so max it is xDaverage is still 55/60 ish where i capped it. since else i get overracted fps x'D 3.26 when?
