do you run AMD gfx ???

If you had read my other post, you would know that I switched back to DX.
~ Please separate the PoE1 and PoE2 forums.
For me Vulkan is better now. DX now post update has major fps drops.

nVidia 1050, Ryzen 2700

It was very smooth before update in every condition.

No, it just CTD at launch <_<
Just for reference on my posts above...

My setup is an HP Omen Laptop with Intel i7 9750H and nVidia RTX 2080. Game runs on my ultrawide monitor (3440x1440) and I leave the laptop monitor open for browser window.

So far no real problems with Vulkan, just some glitches here and there. Performance fairly similar in either mode. No crashes or anything. Vulkan does seem smoother overall and I have been using it, since it was available. Went back to check DX, because of this thread. Played as it did before.

I do get good frame rates (+90) on both.
A common mistake that people make when trying to design something completely foolproof is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools.

PoE just killed my PSU again 2 days ago. Maybe a coincidence, maybe a curse!

My 3rd PSU that blew up n died while playing PoE over the 7 or so years of this PC. A Coolermaster, a FSP and now a Seasonic.

Thank god this ASUS military grade TUF motherboard protected all the devices...
and the Seasonic absorbed all the impact.

But it was a real bummer to install a PSU... all that cable management took almost half a day. =(

Anyone else unlucky with this game? I swear there's something with the programming eating power suddenly? Fine with every other game though its aan old pc. Advice?
i assume they'll remove the (beta) tag next to it when they feel even half-way confident it's good.

nono for now.
Tried the Vulkan beta when they first released it. It was unplayable for me.
This league, every server is extremely choppy, and delerium kills my framerate form 140 down to 5.
Switched to Vulkan, no real change from the current DX so it would appear that the original Vulkan issue was fixed.
Now the problem is either coding or server stability.

same for me, since Heist DX11 is almost unplayable, while vulkan is super stable fps.
Just because I'm paranoid doesn't mean they're not out to get me.

Three dead PSUs would indicate that there is possibly something wrong with your home's electrical wiring. I would suggest hiring an electrician to come and check. If there is something seriously wrong, you could be at risk for electrical fire.
