Is the Vulkan API better for anyone than DX?

I was thrilled to test Vulkan after the latest update to see if there would be any major improvement over DirectX 11 but to this day and after latest technical update of 9/11/2020 Vulkan still yields 10 fps less vs DX in POE.

Do you benefit from this API? and if so what kind of system configuration do you have and how are you benefiting from it? (more fps, lower internal latency, better consistency, or lower CPU usage?)

Hell no, I'm sticking to DX until they can fix the crashes tabbing between windows.

never tried vulkan because DX always worked fine for me.

For me it get's glitchy and laggy.

It's got too many acronyms for me.

It was a decent amount better for me like 10-15 frames in most areas however I was suffering from the invisible creatures/bosses bug for most of the league so i'd disabled it to make it simpler to bug fix potentially.

Without that bug (which I still got in DX11 anyway but less frequently, might have just coincided with patches) I would have happily kept using it.

For me also, performance is better with DX. I did not find a single scenario where I was better with Vulkan - when performance was bad with DX, was at least as bad with Vulkan (usually Delirium maps, and some random time frames).

I didn't look at the FPS, it wasn't the issue for me. I stopped using it pretty quickly because when I minimised the window, when I brought it back up again the screen had gone black and there was no way to get it back again without restarting the game.

For me, Vulkan performance is better.
