Is the RTX 3080 too much for POE?

well, like I said, I was going to buy a new pc and the result has been ANOYING. before I had a 1060 with a third generation intel i5 and with everything set to the minimum it used to have an average of 40fps in 1440. now i have a ryzen 5600x with a RTX 3070 and with everything set to the maximum except the ambient light I have an average of 60fps in 1440. is this a joke? Meanwhile in Cyberpunk 2077 I can easily reach 144hz in 1440 with everything in ultra, ray tracing and dlss. So no excuses, this game's engine is fucking sh**. The sad thing is that 80% of my playing time is dedicated to this game

I play on a Surface pro with i5. Poe ran like a pogchamp but turned to complete garbage ever since delirium came out.

I had microstutters etc. Installed a new video card today i had in storage. Still the same shit, game performance is trash.

I have the same fps drops with my 3080 as I had with my 1080ti. 3080 sits on 50% of its power. Engine is just not the greatest

nothing is too much for poe.

im sure youll find a spot where it chugs anyways ;)


was watching krip play on his 10kstrummerpc and its not super smooth there either.

Don't know what u're doing, but my 3080 is constant at 100%. Running at 4k 100+ fps. If u're running at less than 4k then there isn't much of a difference to expect, maybe if u wanna do 200Hz+, but that's mostly bottle necked by ur CPU.

For everyone having micro stutters, try different options like Vulcan instead of DirectX or fullsreen instead of windowed mode.
I for example can't play Vulcan in windowed mode, otherwise my game is stuttering like hell, but in fullscreen it's buttery smooth.

I have 80+ fps on a 3070. What makes the game unplayable is the servers. Even my old 770 didnt really struggle except in crazy maps. I bet if it was offline 90% of the lags, stutters and crashes would be solved.

i dunno how performance has degraded so much. I run a sandy bridge i7 quad core with an r9 290x (basically around the Xbox One X in perf) and my performance has been absolutely tanking this league

when harbinger reinforcements get on screen, 5 fps

i have never had issues before.
