" I can have an opinion on people behaviour even if i never ever touched the game, and since the comment was focused on the game itself, and player attitude, not really really on the league mechanics I don't see your point. |

your opinion isnt valid if you havent played the damn game. this is common sense...

" The thing with delirium is it was easy to fix. Stacked drops for splinters, reducing the useless reward types and getting more reward types. Also monster health was way to overtuned and visual clarity was non existing. Also easy to fix by lowering monster health in the fog and adding some color. Also performance was super bad, which was fixed partly. The main things the league brought were all nice from the beginning. The fog added a lot of monster density, nice rewards, cluster jewels were super awesome and enabled a lot of new builds and were just fun to play around with. Also the mechanic was straight forward and no spreadsheet required to play the game. Harvest on the other hand is flawed in its core imo. There is no immediate reward interacting with the mechanic. Right now you basically get a lot of free alchs, chaos orbs/fossile crafts. To make money you have to get some nice bases and roll good stuff on them and sell them. This is pure RNG. Also then you rely on actually selling those items, which is also not guaranteed and in general a tedious process, since you rely on other people wanting to buy it. |

" I am not offended :) I just find it sickening that people want always more and more and with less and less work to do for it. Just because some leagues gave you stuff basically for free, just killing stuff on the way, with minimal extra effort it doesn't mean by any means that now every league has to have that as well. TBH the way I see it, people are not REALLY commenting on the league itself tho. It seems it just shows design flaws of the base game - as you said: you played the same stuff over and over for years. Flaw 1: crafting is getting more and more bloated Flaw 2: leveling more characters is just really bad experience Flaw 3: transmedial reliance Fix 1: Reworking crafting as a whole - making it more accessible. For example using a single crafting window, with explanations what you can use, and how to do it with various unlocks in various parts of the game - not just types of crafting currency you are dropping there. Harvest could be an interesting experiment how crafting could be re-done. (it has itls flaws as well ofc). Now we have just too many ways to craft - essences, oils, catalysts, fossils, harvest, crafting bench, currencies themselves ... It would be great to actually this stuff to the crafting bench itself (with better UI tho) and have recipes using the currencies there. Then you can use Lifeforce as an additional currency - requirement for every craft. This way all these crafting systems would be connected and not felt redundant and completely isolated. Fix 2: Not forcing every single character to go through the same story every single time even tho you have already completed it this league. This is actually one of the few things Diablo 3 got right - you can start in the "endgame" with level 1 character if you don't want to go through the story again. In case of PoE, if we could just start additional charactes in the mapping phase, with level-scaled maps where we would level up while mapping would be much more user-friendly experience. (everything that is tied to the story is unlocked from previous character anyway - Lab, HO, HO NPCs etc.) Fix 3: In-game explanations. For me as a player who came back to the game after several years it was extremely confusing, over-comlicated and unclear. Atlas mechanics were one big mess, Niko was more or less ok, but i had to serch online for some stuff to understand it completely. Delirium was more or less ok, Harvest - mechanics of higher tier growing and how it really works are something to be discovered, not explained, which can be kind of a bummer for people who don't pay that much attention how they did it. Overall the game is heavily relying on youtube, player guides and reddit. It would be great to have more intuitive tutorials for mechanics - something else than just quest saying - Do this - with little to no explanation on how you are actualyl supposed to do it, or how the things looks like / where is it etc... |

You know this league is dead, when you only find excitement when you encounter a Delirium portal in a map.
