Quality of life? Naaah p2w

You can only stay addicted to PoE as long as you can click on stuff.

Once your carpal tunnel is so bad that you can't feel half your hand or move your pinky in any way without using your other hand, you're pretty much done.

*Sure you can follow streamers and sell items in HO but your clicking on frags and splinters days are over.*

So the logic behind "in my day we had to walk barefoot 10 miles to school in the snow, uphill both ways, you greenhorns have it easy with your ctrl-click and shift-slider bar" falls completely apart when people are actually making themselves sick and sustaining permanent injuries because of a game design philosophy.

Loot pets and AH already exist in POE China, and there is a reason for not adding them in Global POE.

Buying Goldrim and Lifesprig for 1 alch or 1c for 5 seconds completely destroys interaction and pricing, this is why GGG has not implemented such changes.

Being a dev does not mean you have to implement every single feature in order to achieve laziness.

"B-b-b-b-ut the bots". THERE ARE ALREADY BOTS! LOTS OF THEM! I dont care. I would rather not have to sit 1 hour in my hideout trying to convert my 1k chaos to exalts, and instead play and enjoy the actual game.

I probably wouldn´t mind having AH. Standard league prices are ridiculous anyway.

Would be nice but I would rather have screen without redundant clutter artefacts to see what´s going on.

I wouldn´t mind having auto-looting system for scrolls and such (not paid pets though) but the biggest problem I see is loot explosion everywhere.
I would cut it by 90-95% but increase quality of loot (running tier 16 content shouldn´t give you the lowest rolls etc.)
PoE is the only game I have played I need loot-filter. Loot-filter in Arpg?

"using it a time killer 'till Diablo 4 comes out" ..... all is said.
casuals gamers need casual games......

bye bye
learning is a painful process ... knowledge is the most deadly weapon.
poe is already pay to win with stash tabs that are not obtainable in the game without buying them (could add them as challenge rewards) and in order to enable trading outside of the scam trade chat you need to buy a premium tab too unless you want to use some third party tools

so pets who collect loot etc are not 1% worse than this so just add them, same stuff

Ahh, therein lies the problem. You see, the masses enjoy things like slot machines. "Homer Simpson" levels of idiocy. You just sit there pressing a button, hoping money will come out... like some squirrel trying to get nuts from a Skinner box.

I'm guessing a significant number of Players are basically running a "Skinner box" simulator and don't really care about anything other than mindlessly clicking up rewards/loot.

Like Players who see "Vaults of Atziri" drop and go crazy about it -- perfect example.

When you call someone a casual, at least have the decency to finish all the content of the current league. Mr hardcore gamer.
Just to clarify about the auction house. It doesn't need to even have the "bid" option. I mean AH in a generic term.

Imagine you "place" the item you wanna sell like you do in the premium tab, put the price and the item goes to the "auction house stash".

When a player buys it they pay the listed price, you get the currency instantly, and dont have to:
stop doing whatever you were doing -> invite -> wait for the other to load your ho -> click trade -> wait for trade accept -> place item -> count currency in case the other player is trying to scam you -> accept -> put currency in your stash -> continue playing

Someone back called this "interaction". Yeah, no. I could be trading with a bot and I wouldn't even notice, this is not a real player interaction. So fuck it, I would rather have it authomized.

And ofc QoL = lazy. I play to enjoy and have fun, not have a second job. Lazy doesnt equal easy. A game can be VERY hard, yet have lots of QoL features.
Pure AH is a mistake, on the other hand some fixes have to be done, along with auto pickup, or death log etc... It may happen but as P2W, what you do ? You buy all them ?

Dont throw stones in glass houses. The only thing Hardcore about this game, or Arpgs in general, is time invested.

This genre is literally 1 step above idle games and clicker heroes. And Ironically enough, Diablo combat system is way more involved.

There is nothing hardcore about this genre outside of the actual mode's name. Sorry, thats just how it is. Watching people brag or make fun of others in the same genre blows my mind when this game is an idle game in terms of difficulty.

I mean by that token, my mobile games I play are 10x as hardcore as PoE ever dreamed of being. They require as much if not more time invested, resource management, and at times, more strategy.
