For comparasion, Grim Dawn has started its kickstarter
Grim Dawn, which is using the Titans Quest engine, has started there kickstarter. Interesting to see it how it compares with POE. Grim Dawn is not a free game. Here is the link to there kickstarter page.

I agree, POE and Diablo 3 should take me through to GD. Going to upgrade my support here and also some cash into GD.

I think Grim Dawn looks really neat, but it is quite a ways down the road (i think 18 months or so). Do we know if they plan on doing dedicated servers for multiplayer?

Actually if they get the funding I think it will be out much sooner. They posted a state of the game, link below, and without the funding they were looking at alpha in 6-8 monthes, with beta starting 3-4 months later. They have the core complete, basically they need content and the kickstarter will allow them to hire people to get the content completed much faster. If you have seen the Occultist video, you can see that the game basics are very far along.
