Is this person bullshi**ting?

I'm on a PoE facebook group and this guy who apparently started playing 3 weeks ago was looking for a guild saying that he has no friends playing the game, he also said that he's running t16 maps on his lvl 91 Power siphon/KB pathfinder.

Do you guys know anyone who just started playing who was able to reach t16 maps on a build that is technically not a starter in a matter of 3 weeks, all that without any friends?

RMT aside, do you believe that's possible to accomplish this much in your first 3 weeks of PoE, knowing the depth this game has.

If he was in SSF, I would be impressed.

Edit - And yes, I do think it is totally possible.

This game is a 1 button mashing game, it's not that hard to believe.

Just blindly copy someone else's build -> mash 1 button in maps

I started playing in standard in the middle of Delve league, followed a Toxic Rain pathfinder build guide and reached red maps and killed Elder. Failed Uber Elder so hard because I sucked hard at playing.

So yes I think it's totally possible, expecially if you have previous experience with some ARPGs and scripted fights.

if he has someone to pass him the gear, then its not problem at all.

copy build, get similar gear. rinse and repeat.

and honestly, one valuable unique drop that can sell can fund a lot of builds budget in trade leagues.

damage is king in poe so you can 'blast' through t16 maps with a dps setup.

if it was in hc or ssf, then it'd be impressive.

hell, not even sure about ssf. if you follow cheapest and zero-investment builds in ssf its very possible too. but those builds are usually the opposite of the KB wanders.
