Wrong. They were locked behind regions and you had to do them in order, that wasnt shown at all. There wasnt UI that was telling us "you alredy spawned this conqueror in this zones, you need to go to other region now".
There wasnt UI that was telling us "you already spawned conqueror in this zone, you need to put more watchstones to spawn another".

there was, it told you how many watchstones you required in an area to get the watchstones if you moused over the storage area on the left. The watchstones themselves clearly were colour coded to each dude though I would understand if people didn't realize this one.

they weren't region locked aside from the first 4 being in the corners which you are specifically told to go for, after that i was just do you have the correct number of watchstones for that area.

The spawn mechanic itself was pretty dumb I can't dispute that one, just spamming maps had very mixed results and a bunch of people had the bug where you had to reset your hideout to get them to spawn.

basically It wasn't the clearest system in the world but it wasn't the worst either, the map drop rules are probably more complicated than the actual atlas/conqueror spawn system lol
I'd say it is possible. I've seen a few people really hit the game running. Korean player I know asked a few questions in a stream I watch and hit maps in a couple days. They got the map system down and while I'm not sure where they are now I could see them hitting high reds in a couple weeks.

Now I can't prove that is what happened in your case, or that the person I know didn't rmt, but even with rmt and a couple question, hitting maps in a couple days as a new player impressive.
Not that hard, honestly. Only took me about that much time in delve to get to low red tier maps, which was the first league I played basically by myself. I was a top 100 wd coming from D3. If you're experienced with ARPG's, it's not as bad as you would think. For some reason, PoE players seem to have some undeserving sense of achievement like the mechanics are going to be so foreign that no one will have a clue when they first start this game.
Yes, its possible for someone who played Diablo 2/Diablo 3(or other ARPG) for years. I was more thinking about newbie that is trying ARPG for the first time.
We dont know which one was the guy from the thread (probably first one)

Nice, for many season's I was also on the WD solo leader board. I usually quit mid season when it was just farming for that 0.1% upgrade, primal farming never really interested me.

There is too much to learn in PoE to be this efficient in your first 3 weeks of playing even with G O O G L E

What's to learn you go get a build guide and kill monsters. The game isn't super deep not really. It's actually rather shallow. Then you save up currency and trade for everything else, because the only real thing to learn in this game is that trading beats every other attempt at advancing anything.

Every league the economy changes and whatever the meta of the time is dictates heavy influence, then there's whatever's new that league, etc.

As far as "depth", there is some, especially compared to D3's dumbed down character system. But you're not gonna get the depth of say Planescape Torment's lore, but combat is still far better in Poe. (Of course they are two very different types of games so...)

Yep, totally over league play.
A monkey can blindly follow a build and beat the game, as long as it knows the basics of an ARPG.

Ask this monkey to create a build from scratch, on the other hand, and it will struggle for more than a few weeks.
Bring me some coffee and I'll bring you a smile.
