The timeframe of 6 months is arbritary and GGG can choose a cutoff value to their liking. I would pick a small time-window though.

That also makes sense...... I'm VERY curious to see how that would turn out. Cause it does cut out alot of the clutter and actually makes people be more active and work towards selling their items. To some degree it'd be almost as much effort required as using trade chat in game.

I'm still standing ten toes down on what I'm asking GGG, but if your idea were to be implemented it'd be an alternative solution. That should make the people that object, happy. Now that I think about it, even GGG should be on board with what you said simply because if nothing else; it will cause guys to HAVE to buy new stash tabs.

By removing the "remove only" tabs from being listed; this means that players would have to either a) buy new tabs which converts them from remove only into regular tabs or b) make players stop being lazy and move their items into other tabs and set / update their prices. Something tells me this has been suggested already though it's strange that it hasn't been done.

THIS shit happened to me just a few days ago. I was trying to buy a jewel that a guy had listed for 2 - 4 chaos. Pm'd the guy and waited a good hour or so before he said something about having to re-price it for Standard cause his price was set in league. That seemed so dumb and idk which pissed me off more; having to wait a hour just to hear that or the fact that he had an item listed and choose to ignore it and not reprice it.

What you said shed's some light on some more weird annoying instances of trading I've ran into where guys would say "sorry, wrong price listed". It made zero sense to me, cause they are the ones that have to list and set their own prices online. NOW I get it...it's still very stupid though due to ^.


This lazy crap is one of the reasons for this thread. Players being too lazy to switch leagues to trade but also too lazy to update their damn listings to reflect the prices that they actually want to switch over for and do the trade. If GGG were to remove the option of cross league trading as it's against their own policy, none of this mess would be an issue in the first place and people wouldn't have to NEED or demand an auction house style method of trading in PoE.

There's no reason to completely delist older items. Just filter them out if you don't want to see them.

I knew I'd seen that option somewhere before! Thanks for pointing that out. I've stumbled on to that some months back by accident but haven't seen it since. That tiny box is easily overlooked. However, the fact still remains that even if the prices were filtered out; the issues still remain.

Logging out of a Challenge league to log in to a Standard char to trade a Standard item to another Standard char is not "cross-league trading". Playing in Challenge league and having your Standard items show up in trade listings is also not "cross-league trading". And even then, not all cross-league trading is against policy anyway.

meanwhile, where's the patch notes GGG? Let's see the new ascendacy tree changes already!! Y'all said today! Very curious to see if you boosted the Raider to have 2 frenzy charges seeing as you gave +1 max frenzy charge to the Slayer...... So I know you not gonna just toss aside the Raider's focus on frenzy. Also let's see if the Ascendant will finally be of some damn use and have the main stuff people want from each class on her.
