Let's Discuss This League / Standard Trading Listing Feature

But then there would be no listings on Standard.

Seriously though - I switch league for 30+ Chaos trades all the time and other players have done the same for me. Removing the listings would be a disservice to Standard players.

Bump. Really annoying trying to buy something and the seller is in another league. Temp leagues, now it's temp void league like endless delve. Seriously GGG, what's the point of having the message "That character is out of your league (and you know it)."

This is already fixed.

Go to pathofexile.com/trade and click settings. Check the option that it only shows your status of the league you're playing if you can't be bothered to change characters.

If you want the buyer to have a notification, that's a way smaller problem that doesn't need fixing. Just reply to change the league in the search filter.

It's not fixed, what I'm asking hasn't been implemented yet. That's asking GGG to make the listings appear based on the logged in char's league only.

You know what they should do?

Just delist all items that:

1) are listed in a remove-only tab

2) were listed 6 months and earlier in a public tab. (This filters out all the crap that has been posted by temp league players who refuse to switch to standard).

3) were linked in trade fora in threads which haven't been bumped in 6 months.

The timeframe of 6 months is arbritary and GGG can choose a cutoff value to their liking. I would pick a small time-window though.

There is already some crude date filtering available, although it only goes back 2 months



There's no reason to completely delist older items. Just filter them out if you don't want to see them.

One of the reasons of delisting items is to make sure it doesnt skew the prices. What regularly happens is that old temp league stuff ends up in Standard with way out of date prices. I once had a player contact me in perm HC to buy a Formless Flame helmet and he offered 2 chaos which was far from the current price in hardcore. He reasoned that it was 2 chaos because someone listed it for 2 chaos back in breach league and never got online to re-adjust that price.

If players have to relist items, prices of items would more reflect current market value. It would also delist all items from temp league players who simply refuse to hop over to Standard to sell their items. Most of those items are out of date anyway and could simply be removed from the trade website.
