Changes to the Atlas of Worlds in Path of Exile: Delirium

we still can't farm same map that we like(even it's never gonna spawn awakener)
we still can't uncompleted(seal) the map

but now we also got nerfs like:

1) reduced chance to get master missions(cuz early mapping it's when you'l getting the most of them, rather than late game when you use lot of stuff and run less maps and also master mission not that valuable anymore)

2) map drop was nerfed, i mean we had some fun with map drops, ofc we can't have it, ggg policy(no fun allowed) nerfing map drops again

i wonder how many fun nerfs we'll get in patchnotes? maybe necro buff again? or another bow league(bows nerfed necro buffed)


p.s. also let me bitch about supporter packs, i am still waiting for "Abyss level" supporter packs armour sets, why last few packs so weak compare to abyss one?

This will result in Atlas map completion being reset on Standard league.

This results in me thinking about leaving the game until PoE2.
And I still didn't tried that Wolcen game everybody is talking about... I bet they won't reset stuff every 3 months.
All this resetting bullshit is exactly why I don't play temp leagues and now you doing it to standard.
I got back to PoE after long break and was hoping to stay. I was hoping that game matured over those years and became playable and enjoyable. But your decisions are still weird and unsettling, and the development direction is uncertain. The way you handling Atlas lead me to believe that you have no idea what to do with end-game gameplay and how to improve it.

I totally agree with this guy. I can play like a 1-2 hours a day at maximum. Sometimes even less because of life you know. We're not pro-gamers or gold-diggers here. Why do you keep torturing standard players with those resets on the atlas?

Now they're talking about resetting the watchstones. Right from the start of Metamorph I pushed myself hard in STANDARD to get the watchstones up to awakening level 5. Encountered Sirus once (he f****d me alright i dont care). And now I have only 1 weeks more to play then are you resetting my Atlas again and I need to take 20+ watchstones back again?

nerf the # of map drops by 15% across the board.
we get hundreds of maps we will never run, its fine.
you can sustain maps running everything magic, and no rare maps.
give us a recipe for 3 awakener sextants to make an 'awakener's seal.'
this seal does not temporarily but permanently seals the selected map,
unless you unseal it.(cannot be used on unique maps)
awakeners seals are limited to 10-30, # of watchstones,
or half the # of watchstones obtained.
you can now choose to not run OR RECEIVE the 10% of maps you dislike most.
keep %completion bonuses close to current at like .5% per,
but with like a 1-5%% bonus per 10-25 maps or something.
any problems not solved?

Fix the Map machine too.. Every time i enter hideout i have to switch from that giant version to the small one.. Then when i end my hideout edit and take a few steps it starts editing again. So damn snnoying to deal with that every time i go into my hideout.

Why not just have 2 Atlases so people can pick which one they want or do both?

We'll also be removing the "x% chance for Maps to drop one tier higher" bonus from Awakening Bonus Objectives. why?

this site is for trade sell and reading a tos. and it keeps ggg forum bots buzy at copy pastaing replyes.

they dont care falying fak about players tho have fun. theres none. day time job to farm, i just realized im stuck in this game to want some item in league i must play whole 3 months but now withmap drops lowered, i must run all maps wich i really hate to run.

AND. do i look like a person who wants to play new build each league. to test out new things ? for love of god i didnt manage even to tweak my char out to survive this one i have died fakn 4k times in 3 month. i played same char in std for 4 years and died 2k times.

wich only means you just actualy poop on players head and removing playability on gear combo.

I got bored of not being able to farm the same map over and over. Weird to say that but i'm not alone in that case it seems.
Being able to sustain t14+ easily enough thanks to the AL bonus was the only upside of the new atlas. Once again : access to game content should never be subject of RNG !!

I'm more and more lazy to start everything again every league because it s getting longer every patch that i wanna simply log in standard to create a few builds and play but now with the atlas being wiped there also with no AL bonus or carto seals im not sure i wanna play at all higher than lvl 80 ish.

I feel the game is evolving too much, too fast and we dont have time to breeze.

Adding to this, even tho it's off topic, we gotta spend more and more time in the menu in order to play. Every bit of content we now get, we have toi take care of some "gauge" either in the form of sulphite, sextant, rolling maps, influence etc.

I never really liked maps and always wanted Maelstrom of Chaos back as an alternative, for the sheer simplicity of it. Click, play, kill some shit, enjoy the gameplay.
