They are two sides of the same coin. They are all related and tied. F2P mean microtransaction which inevitably mean p2w which mean paying for advantages. There seems to be a disagreement over what can be discussed in a thread. The subject line, or thread title, whatever it's called is sometimes looked at as what defines the topic. Discussions on the Internet frequently wander around the subject thread title, sometimes not. Sometimes threads are even created where the opening post doesn't really exactly match the subject thread title. Sometimes I even start to post and then decide that I don't want to finis... ARGH!!! Can we stop pretending that this topic matters? Ok, so PoE is "free to play" with a ton of "pay to win" items such as stash tabs. And or course don't forget the cost (for many players) of needing to upgrade to a faster cpu and gpu, more memory, and the obligatory SSD just to get acceptable QoP. Yes, in 2020 all gaming rigs should have an SSD but making it mandatory for many parts of this game (like syndicate ambush) isn't good and proves GGG can tweak performance forever and still have bad QoP in places. "You've got to grind, grind, grind at that grindstone..." Necessity may be the mother of invention, but poor QoP in PoE is the father of frustration. You can easily play without spending, stash management is doable but it is tedious. You don't really need to worry about it until you get to maps and for a new player they will know if they want to spend $20 on some QOL.
