So how good was Metamorph league?

JuST decent league nothing more, i play since 2013, so best league was legion, even now with nerfs i prefer turn on in map device legion, and then drop from metamorphs seems shit compared to legion

I find Metamorph fairly enjoyable. The fights in Tane's lab are a bit easy and the boss organ drops are a bit asymmetrical (always out of eyes or livers, but it's not a huge disparity esp with the trade recipe option).

Although this is a new account I have played a few leagues on a previous account but I don't even recall which ones or what the mechanics were.

liked metamorph. some fights were an absolute blast, much more fun than the new repetitive, boring atlas bosses. the "black" metamorph wackiness that made them hard to see was really, really annoying. can't believe it didn't get patched.

the atlas really, really annoyed me. people talking about doing level N sirus, and i'm sitting there in t15 maps with 10 more stones to get before i get to sirus #1. way, way too grindy. so that's what did me in too.

the additional HP didn't help either.

i lasted about 4 weeks.

I loved Blight, too. I've been playing since 2013 and it's my favorite league.

I haven't been able to get into this league, and I am no fan of the new Atlas.

Metamorph was pretty decent. But ggg nerfing builds took out a lot of re-playability. Also, the one thing that makes it a grind to play, instead of fun, is the endgame map system.
If I could infinitely chain the exact same map after rolling it once, it'd be different. I don't like playing other maps to sustain the one map I do like.

The league is still running, so your past tense reference reveals a level of ignorance on your part.

I actually liked legion quite a bit. BUT. I had a really tanky build that did quite well. But still, i like the idea that i could run around unlock some hard stuff, maybe not too hard, and enjoy some crazy fight. Much like metamorph.

Legion was literally the worst league ever made. No other league gated builds this much.
