if people understood the weight of time that a decade old community has to deal with the same gripes just reworded from someone who did not even bother to see how many times it's been addressed. Including your own concerns you just posted.

Honestly, this is a silly argument. I've played WoW on and off for 15ish years, and not once have I said "this has been answered before," because NEW PLAYERS DON'T KNOW STUFF.

If your time is worth that much, don't respond. Congratulations on being around for a long time...I'm sure you've learned a lot over the years.

Your missing his point i think.

It's entirely possible to first do a search on the forums for threads that pose the question you have and look at the answers and see if they solve your issue.

Of course new players constantly join the game, but it's a specific kind of person that comes to ask questions that have been debated and answered at length previously.

Most of the sillent majority will probably do a google search or some other stuff first to see if they can find answers themselves.

I don't think pointing people to the fact something has been answered before is "bad-faith" or pointless.(since it hints them at the possibility to do a search for it)
And it might provoke them into searching first when they have another question in the future.
Which results in a forum with better formulated questions, perhaps a certain aspect of a problem was not propperly solved previously or entirely new problems get brought to the forefront.

It's a lot easier to see toxicity and bad-faith in everything then go the hard-route of good-faith assumptions and steelmanning differing views.(the later is much more fun and active in my opinion though)

I laughed since the tittle itself demonstrates a complete lack of empathy in the wording.

Among friends, probably, but to a random stranger on the street a highly defunct strategy which the OP probably has not tested since it doesn't exactly withstand the test of time or the rub with reality.

Sure it's nice to have a positive interaction but theorie and reality are miles apart.
