Its not an excuse, it's a suggestion.

RMT, botting, scams, ect... will never be completely eliminated anyways.

I'm not saying they should throw their hands up, but this isnt a clear solution type fix.

RMT does't really effect me.

Scams only work if you don't pay attention. Honestly if you let yourself get scammed, it means you probably should have paid more attention. If anything it makes trading more like real life. People scam in real life all the time.

Botting (non RMT), if anything has been good for me. They usually are the only ones that respond to trade request the later you get in temp leagues.

I dislike conspiracy theories because reality is usually simpler and dumber than the theory.

However, there are HUGE amounts of Ex up in the first day after league starts. More than I can even see a small army of players generating that quickly.

So, one of two things is true

-GGG is selling it direct, and its a profit stream.

-This game is really, really easy to farm with bots, like 10,000 at a time running 24/7, meaning a sizable portion of the players are farm bots, and nothing is done to stop this.

So what, what do you care if someone wants to spend $40 trying out a headhunter for a league. Its the cost of two movie tickets and some snacks.

Personally I dont RMT because I think good builds should be able to farm endgame content on under 200c. I know for a fact minion builds could farm uber elder on 20c so theres no reason for RMT. If you need more, redesign the build to more efficient. But thats just me.

If I would have bought currency with real money (for let say a couple of thousands of euros, which is nothing really) and I would have purchased ALT ARTS in 2013-2014, you would have an invesment that would have done WAY, and I mean WAY better than BEL20, AEX, DAX30, CAC40, NASDAQ or precious metals.

Checked the price ex is .76$. even if you can farm 100 ex a day it is 76$ before website cut, so more like 35 a day... Sounds like legit way to make money. Even in first week when ex price is let's say 5$. Still 130 a day. Barely more then minimum wage.

Now imagine if you could but MTX for in-game currency. Lets take 0.5$ = exalt. Just 6 exalts for one mystery box!


(honestly I cant imagine anyone selling currency for this dirt-cheap prices other than huge bot "farms" that run hundreds of bots at the same time)
