" It's not exactly non-existent, but it's pretty damn restrictive, especially compared to previous leagues. I'm pushing my first 40/40 and it's not even so much a challenge as it is simply a grind I've avoided because I don't enjoy it - like my experience is right now. Yep, totally over league play.

" I've been playing since 2012 and I found Metamorph to be one of the most enjoyable leagues I've ever had the pleasure of participating in. It was also my first league where I hit 38/40 challenges which is the best I've ever done. The combination of a better Atlas and a league mechanic that kept me invested was enough to give me motivation to reach this point. However, the reason I had such a good time of it was because I was running a build that does extremely well against single-target opponents. To be more specific, I was rolling a skeleton summoner build (and a shitty one at the time). Summoner is what I do, it's what I love to play most, and Metamorph was definitely "my league". The reason you feel like Metamorph is unplayable for you probably has to do with how your build isn't "compatible" with the challenge the league provided. Personally, I think that's a very valid issue. Not everyone likes/wants to play single-target builds or summoner in order to have fun in a league. Delirium went the complete opposite direction to favor group clear, screen-killing, GOTTA GO FAST, 1shot 3 screens builds. This league has been one of the most unenjoyable for me, because I can't make shit for money in it on account of not running a build I don't like playing. GGG needs to stop making leagues where some builds will grossly outshine the rest and the others get to be miserable for the next 3 months. I feel like Harvest may be a step in the right direction, but there's no way to tell. PoE players: Our game has a wide diversity of builds.
Also PoE players: The [league mechanic] doesn't need to be nerfed, you just need to play a [current meta] build! And the winds will cry / and many men will die / and all the waves will bow down / to the Loreley |

I would say budget build cost way more than they used to now. But I can say also making money is a bit easier.
I actually find that the new atlas is fucking boring to progress... on top of increasing the grind altogether. I find myself now buying fragments to do shaper instead of reaching it myself or if I'm lucky to reach Sirius lvl 5 before I get bored to death with the grinding and progression because it start to feel like a chore. I find the game less and less rewarding to play lately. |

Lol I came here expecting to read a bunch of comments about people talking about how ez the game is
(because it is so damn ez) I find a ton of people crying about how hard it is ? HUH? Cluster jewels have made the game sooo ez... so many builds are able to find powercreep from cluster jewels that didnt have that type of investment available Some of the comments are a bit.. unbelievable... like... "I've been playing for 2 years and never reached red maps" So I 100% doubt you've played for 2 years and I 100% doubt you even tried Like what did you play 1 hour a week or something? And then re-roll at lvl 80? Too many questions, too many memes, too many unbelievable tales here Game isnt hard Game is very ez So ez that you can be successful without understanding the game at all Anyone can go read a basic guide and go copy mathil/ziggy/whoever Not even gonna bother trying to teach someone the game when there are infinite guides out there explaining every aspect of this game Too many yikes in this thread lol |

"What this thread really is about is how not all builds are viable, and that's apparently a bad thing because every unique item should be a best-in-slot for some build somehow. I'm more inclined to go with: the Black Cane is bad, and you should feel bad for thinking you could make it good. When Stephen Colbert was killed by HYDRA's Project Insight in 2014, the comedy world lost a hero. Since his life model decoy isn't up to the task, please do not mistake my performance as political discussion. I'm just doing what Steve would have wanted.

It might not 1 shot shaper lol, but the definition of viable is different for everyone Someone might think that a build isnt viable unless it can do Sirus deathless and face tank all his dmg etc Its ignorant for OP to assume that he made the correct choices, best build possible and that it still didnt work Its much more realistic that the dude just cant make a POE build, and doesnt understand POE mechanics etc |

it's fine. game is hard & not for everyone. nothing wrong with that. maybe you experianced all you need & it's no longer relevant to you. it's ok to quit. Gl & see you next league.
