This goes for you too, you are at 13/40, you are already in the top 20% of the players, and you haven't even finished the league yet.
20% of players have completed 12 challenges and earned the Blight Helmet.
Thanks. I only aim to get Level 90 and then play with other different kind of builds. Not much work into challenges.

I hate this. PoE is a free game. Anyone can install and check it, then dump it without wasting a cent. This inflates the number of people who "supposedly" play the game. If PoE was paid for it'd be much different I can assure you. A guy with 5 link would by no means be top 10% in this case.

So a couple of things.
1) Semi-Casual Veterans are probably not meant to be farming awakerner level 8 and really high-tier maps. It seems as if GGG is preparing us for a major rebalance in POE 2 where only the most optimized characters can do end game. (This is how POE was when it was originally released btw). NOTE: This is just the feeling i'm getting. This was not stated anywhere, but this is what I feel they are trying to do to slow the game down gradually and make it so that only the "extremely dedicated" playerbase gets to the ultimate end game.
2) I've created multiple builds this league and it is very true that some builds are getting placed out of being "good enough". The amount of defense required to survive this league is very high and not all characters can get that level of defense and do "good enough" damage to metamorphs, etc. This turns into a battle of attrition where if you don't kill the boss/meta quickly, then you inevitablely die due to attrition based defenses (i.e. you can only get lucky and dodge hits for so long before getting one shot).
3) Lenin, in looking at your character there are a few notes. First off, i don't think Bladefall is the best choice for what you are trying to accomplish. If you are trying to buff the phantasms and yourself, the only real choice for physical spells is Blade Vortex and maybe EK nova. There is also the option of converting all of the physical damage to another element and trying to exploit things like herald of ice or penetration to get more damage. Blade vortex is probably ideal because you wouldn't be wasting a link on spell echo with a little bit of cast speed (which also affects your minions) on the tree.
Your links in your chest indicate you are going crit. You simply have to understand what is going on with the item you are building around.
Some notes:
1) You are crit, but you probably are not crit capped. You aren't using a diamond flask either (which would help tremendously)
2) Based on the black cane, I do think you have to decide whether you are dealing the damage or the minions. I think going hybrid will just hurt you.
3) Going low life requires MUCH more investment including at least a couple of enlighten 4s, and maybe even more reservation reduction in the tree. Simply put, running things like herald of purity is fine, but it only buffs you. Ideally if you are using brutality, you would want to run pride. Also running a holy relic might also be a nice buff. You are running low life, but you have so many aura's focused on your defense that the minions just don't have enough damage due to lack of supports and auras that benefit them.
Pride, Zealotry, A curse on hit setup with Vulnerability (maybe). TLDR: I don't think you are investing enough to make a strong lowlife build.
4) I think that you should buff your phantasms and maybe even try and dual wield canes. I would consider your spell damage secondary. The big issue here is that you will basically be stuck on bosses where there are no ads so Awakener would be out of the question.
Just some thoughts.

Thank you guys for constructive criticism, I really appreciate that. May be I'll try to come back to the game after the patch if they fix some overtuned metamorph attacks and W7 memory leak (which was also one of the reasons I quit it). But still I doubt that I will make something endgame viable out of it. I guess there's a reason I see no builds based on black cane on poe.ninja, it's just not an end-game viable item. It was super fun to lvl up with it and do whites and early yellows with tho.
I'm gonna be honest here...
if you left for whatever reason it's best to drop it entirely and check what's next in store for 3.10 december leagues for tencentggg is probably the lowest quality they can offer for the "top" arpg out there.

Hi. My first and last post. I quit too.
First of all, i agree with u and i understand why u quit.
I have 1.3k hours in poe. A great game until u reach red map. In 2 years, i never past t14/t15 red map.
I try : melee, ranged, caster, nothing works. I read beginner's tips, guide, learn by playing.
Even with all res 75%, not bad gear for t14/t15 map, 1 shot dead. And yes HP, evasion, ES too.
Look like this game is for elite gamers only.
For me, a game must be fun to play with some challenge. Not a 1 shot kill game. Or a game u only run map again and again and hope find something. Suppose to be fun ?
I hate lost xp. I start running map with 5% xp and after 2 hours, same level with 0% xp. 1 error and bang, ur dead. Suppose to be fun ?
Crap gear. Red map drop mace level 22 ? Can't do better map so i never have end-game gear. Want to buy, need currency. Where u find currency, in map or Delve. Do better map, need gear. Suppose to be fun ?
All aspect of this game is hard, nothing for casual player. Always a punch in u face.
Have fun.

I understand all the elite currency purchasing players are tell everyone to stop complaining. However, this game is losing playerbase constantly because of the increase in difficulty. I love a hard game but this is becoming disgustingly hard to even acheive anything without breaking the rules.

It's not a problem that the game is getting hard, but the fact that every time they buff the content, the progression power curve is getting screwed, so even more % of the builds are getting useless and Meta becomes even more important.
I tried my builds and failed because i just can't do it, and i did truly undergeared archmage brander and started stomping red maps :( on HC.
I tried 5 different Elementalist golems this league and the Golems HP is just scaled to match the damage from 5 leagues ago. On SSF without 5 Primordial gems they just die instantly to Delirium content, and if you invest normal Minion life nodes which are completely trash compared to the damage ones your build just sucks.

The problem with POE is that most players are honest players and unable to get past 5 exalts while playing poe.
The new contents require 50 exalt at least and is for the elite players.

Almost true.
Or make a Herald stack build in Delirium.
