Despite the grammatical error, I like the title of this topic: "If something bad happened to you, its your fault"
The opposite title would be: "If something bad happened to you, it's someone else's fault"

Way to be selective to create an artificial point.

1) Actually, the opposite statement would be, "if something good happens to you, it's someone else's fault."

2) How does bringing up the opposite of someone's opening statement mean anything at all?

"Judge, I plead innocent; I swear to God I did not kill my wife!"

"OH YEAH? WELL HERE ON MY PAPER IT SAYS THAT THE OPPOSITE OF YOUR STATEMENT ACTUALLY WOULD MEAN THAT YOU DID KILL YOUR WIFE!"

*gavel*

"GUILTY!"

If A then B
Let C be opposite of A
Let D be opposite of B
Then both
(if C then B) or (if A then D) are opposite of the first statement.

"

In mathematics, you may not be able to prove that A=B, but you may be able to prove that A!=B, which implies that the former is not true.
This concept is also widely used in terms of the dialectical method.

You're trying way too hard to sound smart.

I tried ShadyC experiment and got a bunch of people saying how much league sucks, and why Dota 2 is better.

Funniest part of this thread so far is the two pseudointellectuals arguing about getting hit with hammers while holding the wood. If either of you had ever used a hammer you'd know you don't hold the wood - you hold the nail!

Save yourselves some embarrassment - use an analogy you're familiar with.
I havent seen such a thread filled with fail trolls.Gave me a good laugh.

I didn't see the point in correcting him since I understood the original point he was trying to make.

Someone that disregards the valid point made with the analogy and instead chooses to be pedantic about a non relevant detail would be the one I would call "pseudo-intellectual".

If you are going to critique a discussion, have the self-respect to make your critique relevant.

That, I think, is a valid point.

People in this topic are arguing how bad this community is, even though these are the same people who uses this kind of argument:

Call me a troll, call me a pseudointellectual, but if you are trying to make a point, use real arguments. Otherwise you are no better than the LoL community yourself.
I think there are several people in this thread that are mistaking misplaced blame as a failure to accept personal responsibility. Sure, it's not GGG's fault if someone gets hacked, but really it's not the person's fault either. It's the people who carry out the scam or distribute the malware.

The problem is that the people who hack you or distribute malware cannot be held responsible (unless legal actions are taken, which usually cannot be done).

Instead of contacting GGG about getting hacked, you would be wiser formatting your PC, securing your online bank accounts etc. If I was hacked, my PoE items would be the least of my worries.

If the criminals cannot be held responsible and GGG cannot be held responsible, then YOU are the only person in question.
