Nice title. This just happened to me in a recent post. This community completely went crazy, calling me an idiot. I change my email password every 30 days, have an antivirus, never been hacked. Nope, still my fault. No one but me has access to my email. I'm not a kid. I'm 25 and have a full time job as a QA Analyst(I know my way around a computer). I don't have time to deal with this.
The only support they give is "Woops, your email got hacked. Sucks to be you." Their database got hacked, not just my account. The hackers wont hack everyone at once. |

You start your reply by saying 'incorrect' and then go on to agree that 'the first time' would indeed be 100%.
The incorrect you refer to is then an extension of the issue which I haven't mentioned at all which is what to do in situations when you undergo repeat occurrences of the exact same incidence. If someone posts a 'QQ' thread, or whatever the latest troll word for it is, you still have no idea how many times this incident has happened to someone. And the area of what 'repeat' punishment someone can take before complaining is an area so muddy as to be the in the region of completely un-pindown-able. With regards to desync, the only specific aspect of the OP you're referring to in that last post, many will be putting up with it, in full knowledge of it's existence, doing everything they can to account for it, but when their HC character finally dies to it, yes, of course they'll be here to moan, that's, again, basic human nature. And for the record, the way to change something that is effecting you negatively is not to 'put up and shut up' but to complain. Again, basic human behaviour. If something happens to someone twice, it's most likely because they didn't complain enough. |
