3.9 Atlas - i have 8 watchstones and 8 citadels , now what?
" Yeah that's tough! There should be a way to cancel this imo, to at the very least, get access back for your stones. "Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove all doubt."

" Apparently this is a known bug (where inner watchtowers aren't unlocking) and is being looked into. Just wanted to give update in case others see this. It's affecting people in each type of league, and affecting those with just one character and ones with multiple characters. |

"Do you have a link to this? Spent hours, three inner zones have no citadel but need watchstones. Really starting to outright hate this new atlas setup. |

" https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/2692776/page/1 There you go, lots of people commenting, with Justin's comment at the very end that it is being looked into. And yeah, I'm with you. The new atlas is just far more convoluted and very front loaded with white maps. I'm level 85 and haven't even touched a yellow map yet. Although a lot of it is because I might be bugged. Thanks again.
Sadly quite unscientific, but following advice there I logged out/in, switched hideout and last two citadels spawned back-to-back. Including one section I did 4-5 T3-T4 maps tonight. From racecourse, which I again I did tonight. So now on to yellow maps? At level 86. |

" Oh nice, glad it worked for you. I'm at work, but as soon as I get home I'm switching my hideouts to see if that helps. |

guys ive figure it out
the bar on the left side that says: "region level: x required to spawn an exile" means how much watchsones need to be there to spawn that specific (color) exile for example: New Vastir (red ball) not obtained region level: 1 required to spawn an exile (green ball) not obtained region level: 2 required to spawn an exile (blue ball) obtained (yellow ball) not obtained region level: 2 required to spawn an exile this means that, in New Vastir, you have fought the blue conqueror in that area, and you cannot spawn it again in that specific area - to spawn the red conqueror u need 1 watchstone - to spawn the green conqueror u need 2 watchstone - to spawn the yellow conqueror u need 2 watchstone once u get 8 watchsones, and have fought all conquerors twice each, most of them will have to spawn in red maps (and some yellow maps), which where the trouble begins from this point, u need to start focusing on 1 area first, and make the other area adjacent to it a yellow map, and another area a bunch of white maps, similar to the old altas, so u can get red maps SSF-wise for example: New Vastir region level 3 (3 watchstones socketed) are all red maps make Glennach Cairns a bunch of yellow maps (region level 2) if you can run the maps in Glennach Cairns, eventually u will get red maps in New Vastir (region level 3) if you CANT run the maps in Glennach Cairns region level 2, make the adjacent area a bunch of white maps (Valdo's Rest or Tirn's End in this case) basically u have to make ur atlas similar to the old atlas, if the corners are all red maps, some inner areas should be yellow maps and white maps so you can maintain running maps SSF-wise hope this helps (PS. i currently have 10 watchstones but just dont feel like grinding rn) Last edited by DngA#1315 on Dec 18, 2019, 10:46:29 AM

Seems there is a bug where the inner regions of the Atlas can not spawn influence. I cant progress past 8 watchstones neither. Welcome to yet another beta-testing league.

" You should be able to do all of your outer regions then regardless (might be harder due to needing to put 3-4 stones in the region you are trying to spawn a conqueror but still doable assuming your build can kill a red boss). As others have said check your storage boxes on the left to see how many stones you need in a particular zone to spawn the next exile. |

" If you have no red maps at all, i'd recommend splitting your remaining watchstones and putting 2 in one region, and 3 in another. That should give you a good spread of available tiers so that you can work your way back up to red maps. My current strategy (since i've got about 15 watchstones) is to always have enough watchstones in each area such that an exile can spawn in that area. That way it doesnt matter what maps i run, i always have the chance of spawning an exile. Soon as i kill one i have to recheck, and the watchstone requirements slowly increase. That said, every zone still has 1 exile that requires only 1 watchstone socketed. One zone where i dont have the watchtower yet requires 1,4,4,4 for the exiles. |
