The Sirus Fight is Really Badly Designed
" Well if those 12k base are accurate and i fought the 2500 version then that's definetely going to be impossible. Chieftain, Slayer and Champion can stomach up to 14k physical damage, the Jugg up to 22k but if he get's his current damage times 5 then that's it :( |

" as i understood it, boss invulnerability phases is a challenge to builds doing burst damage with mines, vaal skills and to run ailments on the boss in a timeout. it often also allows you to fight adds to refill your flasks. age and treachery will triumph over youth and skill!

it would be ok if Sirus was AFTER uber elder or something, but thats it, this is our fucking endgame boss that we can reliably farm
who thought that restricting arena from the start with shitton of damage is a good idea? why shaper fight dont start with 90% of screen in vortexes? but here we are, even GETTING to boss to fight him is a challenge, well done GGG Last edited by berg3g#5070 on Dec 18, 2019, 12:55:31 PM

ok i had another 6 lives at this boss , and im getting really mad
again at awakening level 0, and yet the boss is just bullshit the abilities look exactly like the damn ground under the ability the voids have no pattern , some just stay where they are and some just move at random or towards you loosing 50% of the portals just cus there is no path to the invunerable boss isnt hard its just shit , and that is a fact and the best part of it all is that i have to do another 50 maps and 3-4 conqueres(that atleast half of the time drop not even influenced items even with awakening level 7) to just respawn him , over the last 3 days i can spawn at best 1 sirius per day and im playing 16 hours a day i hope ggg can atleast answer to this post Last edited by zugulo#6375 on Dec 18, 2019, 2:15:08 PM

It's a war between the character's power guy and the end game boss guy.
The first one want huge gap of power between characters in end game, like some can kill a guardian in minutes when others take 2 seconds (now, was like 0,5 sec before the patch). The second one want his end game boss to be a challenge to each and every player capable of end game. That's not possible because of the other guy, so he designed a mini game where you fight not the boss but the environnement and mechanics during inv phases. In 3 tries (18 portals) I have attacked the boss less than 5 seconds total. I'm still figuring env threats and big aoes mechanics during inv phases, that's 99% of the encounter. I'm not playing HnS to dodge and evade the environnement and attacks from an inv boss. Not at all. I will persist a bit but I'm almost certain to go play other games when I've killed him one time. And that's from a guy who killed something like 80 Uber Elder in the last 3 months in SSSF, it's not like I don't like to farm bosses... that one just don't belong to an HnS. |

The degen-nados should at least not be allowed to overlap so closely imo.
like if the effect range was 100 from the center. the minimal range from one center to the center of another should be like 220 so there is like a 20 range walk way or something that wont completely 4$$^ck you if you have a bit of attention and composure kept up. I also don't think that degen should be allowed to stack. edit// btw some1 wid balls should try warping in the middle of the storm, see if there is still degen at the eye. I just tried this fight on a high level character.
I went into the fight knowing that people were discontent with it and not expecting much (probably some mechanics that don't follow the rest of the game like scary things you actually want to stand in, bad signaling of damage, etc - the kind of thing GGG tends to put in new fights). My lack of expectations was exceeded by a long shot. I spent most of the time after the first phase trying to work out a way to actually *get to the damn boss* and got corraled into areas I couldn't move past multiple times, when I wasn't being hit with graphical effects that hadn't loaded after 10+ minutes. Good games can make you angry sometimes, for good reasons. They can also make you angry for very bad reasons. This fight is very, very, very bad. I checked the video of the melee fight and was shocked at how good the guy's RNG was that he actually had a clear floor area, and not just a shitfest of stuff that's impossible to move past without taking damage, because that's what I got. 0.5/10 wouldn't recommend to a blithering idiot |

SSF is not and will never be a standard for balance, it is not for people entitled to getting more without trading.
