The Sirus Fight is Really Badly Designed

Killed Sirus at awakening 7 with only one death. Now I'm stuck here at Awakening 8.

edit: I was aware of this potentially happening, so I never led a storm anywhere close to the entrance. I always started the storm phase by fleeing Sirus to the south or west.

It's really bad. None of it makes any sense. You need to have more visual cues otherwise it gets very annoying!
The season ended for me after my last portal at my first Sirus fight. I'm still angry about how bad he is designed. Few minutes ago I watched a f'n guide on how to trigger his phases and deal with the storms. Now I'm even more angry that I know how stupid his mechanics are.

Imagine being a ranged build and always keeping your distance. The fight would never end because his trigger is below his chair. What do I have to smoke to come up with that kind of design and actually get it through?

It would be an okish fight without the storm shit and the phases. Give him more hp and delete the phases, maybe It would make the fight better.
Or just put the Innocence fight in there. Would be far better in any way.

They need to get rid of the damn clouds. Those are stupid, RNG can make the fight impossible. The clouds need to go. I legit HATE the fight only because of the damn clouds.

GET RID OF THE CLOUDS!
I literally just stood underneath Sirus for a good 10 seconds before being devoured by the ridiculous "inner deatomization storm" insanity. It's so unclear what I'm supposed to do about that. He just refused to come out of the air. This was my second attempt at the fight and, admittedly, this one is more on me. The first one ended when I accidentally parked one of the storms on top of the door, which is crazy bullshit (I had a couple of portals left when I did that). This honestly feels like the mastermind fight when it first came out where I've just not understood something, but, from everything I've read, this is just the fight.

The storms would be fine if they were static, but the huge ones following you is is ridiculous. Maybe make the ones that follow you smaller? Or something?

Also, I'd be more okay with it if my deaths weren't so disproportionately due to storms. Of the 12 portals I've had the fight, 10 deaths were storms...

Maybe get rid only from the static clouds and let him use his ability with the rest. Also fix the bug so people can always have access from the entrance to the boss and prevent any possible blocking.

This way the mechanics stays but will be better to move around and lure the clouds without the statics. Or just lower their radius a little, I don't know.
Dude you can give this guy 30000% more hp just remove the fucking cloud phase it's FUCKING S T U P I D

The fundamental problem with this boss design is that it goes against the core beauty of POE and in my eyes it is the high degree of freedom. In POE you can run any build and be effective if you know how to build a character. But against this boss it hardly matters how good your build is. If you don't know how to scam (yes I use this word intentionally) his clouds you are screwed. Doesn't really matter how tanky you are. That is just the single most important thing in that fight. You have really good dps with decent recovery? Doesn't really matter if you don't know how to shepherd the clouds. You have mediocre dps but know his mechanics really well? You won't have a problem. AND there is a huge advantage for builds who don't need to channel / stand / aim but can hit and run, as a result of this arcade-ish design (and a bad one at that).

All in all this is a very badly designed boss fight overall. The voice acting is unimpressive, the character setting is hollow and the mechanics are totla mess. Bring our shaper / elder epicness back please!

The core idea of PoE has been dead for years.
