Still crashing , Vulkan workdaround seems working without crashes. At this point GGG should just release (ALPHA) VULKAN support. Whatever you have would still be better than crashing PC completely and worrying that it would damaage computer.

GGG could you please let us know is Vulkan coming any time soon because I have only two options:

1) Play with workaround but with stutter
2) Play without workaround and hope not to damage computer.

Thank you

I have been lurking the AMD subreddit and have not seen any mentions of Path specifically. But there are threads over the last few days where people are stating similar issues. Black screen that results in having to reboot the whole PC. Starting to wonder if this is more of an AMD side thing? But weird since I have not been having issues in any other game so far.

In the past week or so, I have had two similar crashes in RDR2 on my RX 5700.

All my screens lost signal and turned off. Sounds kept going for some seconds more, and had to do full system restart... so literally exactly the same as PoE

EDIT:

This is something I found on one of the reddit threads

"Go to Control Panel>Power Options>Change Plan Settings>Change advanced power settings>PCI Express>Link State Power Management, and if it's set to Moderate Power Savings, set it to Off.

My black screens have stopped since changing this. Other users have also reported that it fixes stuttering issues."

I have no idea if it's related but I just did the change and will see if it has any effect on crashes

EDIT:

As usual, I managed to play a few hours and it crashed just like before. Btw i have never crashed immediately on Tane spawn or anything like many people are reporting. It happens always at pretty random times.

I saw that post as well. Tried it and it worked for a few maps but then crashed on Pier. No dice.
