Crashes, 5700 XT AMD Issue?

I'm crashing in act 2's town again. I downloaded the latest patch that just came out, restarted my pc, and then tried to run the game. No dice. It crashes after about 6 seconds in act 2's town. I'm using Steam's version. Are you guys having better luck with the standalone? The error I got was
 Am I doing something wrong? I can send over another dxdiag if needed. |

" Crashed when portaling to city act 3. Turned everything back to defualt on amd settings except for image sharpening. vsync off in game. works fine so far gardens too |

I have done this and it worked for me very well for now since the last patch :
1) Fresh install AMD Drivers 19.12.3 (i uninstall old driver with DDU in safe mode) 2) Radeon setting : https://imgur.com/a/2QKBNG8 3) disabled economic energy of my PCI Express port : "Go to Control Panel>Power Options>Change Plan Settings>Change advanced power settings>PCI Express>Link State Power Management, and if it's set to Moderate Power Savings, set it to Off. I play with steam, setting ingame are : without Vsync,cap framerate at 76 fullscreen windowed. All good, fluid, nice! And... no more crash! I hope I'm not pushing my luck, but it's working for now. I turned off the PCIE power saving and that stopped the crashes. Didn't change anything else. Thanks, GGG! Now it's time to grind.

" Followed this guide and its the 1st time my game didnt crash in Act1 when defeating Faun (navali quest) at the Climb in Act1. I hope it stays like this. finally i can move on. I can't get samples from Act 2 Old Fields (maybe too high level?), but I've completed 5 Tane encounters in maps without any crashes.

I habe a 5700 xt top but dont know if the card is the problem.
Theresa wäre 2 types of disonnects the first shows something like unexpectet bla bla you log back in everythings fine, portals there. The other error says something like data Server bla bla if you log back in no Portals and inventory empty so all loot i picked up so gar is gone. In 3 hours yesterday it happens 10 times with 50/50 error 1 and 2. Thought its a problem of my internet connection but saw this post today. The other 5700xt users have the same errors? If not my gpu is not the problem |

quickly tried old fields A2, no crash with Tāne
But I wish the GGG would migrate to Vulkan as soon as possible. The potential of Vulkan is insane (uncapped FPS)  And that it is with translation. native should be even faster/better optimized Last edited by julus#1066 on Dec 19, 2019, 1:42:10 AM

removed the dlls, then let the patch install and i havent had any crash on the way through act 9 to 10 and now my first map! was smooth as butter too. i am on an old driver also still too. 9.11.3. Thank you so far!
