The problem with game crash after TANE OCTAVIOUS autospawn or spawning him manually in several locations (for example ACT 4 The Dried Lake). After testing several versions of AMD drivers, on version 19.1.1 of 01.11.2019 the game started to work properly. So far, no crashes can be seen. I hope it will also help other AMD owners.

Is there any chance you can try to spawn Tane in a Courtyard Map and post the results?

Just tested, everything works fine on Courtyard map.

I just did it myself after downgrading to 19.1.1 and unfortunately crashed on my end :(
I too am experiencing very frequent instant client crashes.

1060 3GB, on AMD Ryzen machine.

It started after the update was applied today, never before. Crashes are very frequent - every 1-3 maps, and last crash was in Tane's lab right as the loot explosion happened.

I lost a lot of loot, maps don't feel fun anymore, gameflow is gone today and I can't get myself to log back in because I know it's gonna be a crashfest anyway.

I hope a fix is underway; but GGG silence of acknowledging our crashes and that they're looking into it since last update are worrying me.

Sadly won't be playing until further information

So you wonder what's up with the game? The answer is silence, whispering skidding shifting silence.
Hey all,

Sorry for the lack of updates regarding this problem.
We're currently working on a fix for this and will have it deployed as soon as we can.
We can't give a specific ETA, as things may get delayed. But it's definitely a top priority at the moment and we're doing everything we can, as quickly as we can.
Hello Yolandi,

Does this mean that the problem is known, and a fix targeting that issue is being worked on?

Or are you still trying to find out what causes the crashes?

Transparancy there could really help settle our moods

Hope the fix doesn't affect the vulkan support, first time this game runs so smoothly
There is an AMD patch tomorrow that addresses a lot of issues.

The day before yesterday, after rebooting my system following a crash, my computer turned on for a second, switched off and I smelled something burning.

I took my system apart, went through everything and saw no sign of damage. I put it back together today and it seemed to boot up fine..

There is no way this crash could fry something in my hardware unless something was already faulty or damaged, right?
Could anyone check if Tane crashes are less frequent when the last picked fragments comes from the boss? So far I'm experiencing fewer game crashes after I started picking all fragments before looting the last one which comes from the boss. Might be just a coincidence though.

Thanks for the message, Yolandi.
Hope you can give us some more updates soon.
