Crashes, 5700 XT AMD Issue?

I don't understand why didn't they just remove the offending visual effect (as a temporary solution before the proper fix).

I assume if it was something as simple as a single effect (which they could identify) I'm sure they would have. But it's obviously somewhat more involved than that.
The fact they want to push auto pickup without any updates on this issue. Combined with not even being able to tell us if we could be banned for doing the only thing that makes the league playable is incredibly frustrating. I am trying to be understanding as I'm sure it is a complicated situation. But throw us something.

I think at this point it's pretty common knowledge that you aren't going to get banned for using Vulkan. Just someone getting all paranoid on Reddit. Probably worries about getting arrested for jaywalking too.

At this point I am really just mind blown that GGG, the company, cannot tell me, the customer, if something is against their own Terms of Service. My knowledge on anything programming/software related is very basic. So I won't even pretend to understand what the dynamics behind the workaround are.

So, I have a 5700XT, I had some crashes in the leveling process in Act 2, like probably most of AMD GPU users, I simply stopped collecting the fragments until I reached the endgame, so far no crashes, everything smooth, ZERO PROBLEMS... with that said, yes, It is frustrating not having a word from GGG, yes, I do want them to push a fix... etc, etc, but saying that the workaround provided is " the only thing that makes the league playable ",in my opinion is going too far.

it is the only way. if you stopped collecting the organs you just dont play the league mechanic which is a big feature for many. So to play the league with all mechanics you need to use the workaround.
QUICK TIP FOR EVERYONE

When your screen goes black, pressing Win-Ctrl-Shift-B Reboots your graphics drivers. This makes it so you don't have to restart. Sound stops working on chrome though until you restart chrome then it works fine. GL

How is it going too far? If you are not picking up the body parts, you are not playing the league mechanic. The only thing for me that has allowed me to actually play the league mechanic is the thing they refuse to say if it's against ToS or not which is what I said.

I just want to be able to play the league without putting my hardware at risk.
totally agree, I'm happy playing without the league mechanic for now as well...

It just occurred to me how stupid I have been though. I have been avoiding the body parts manually with the only crash coming when I clicked one by mistake, presumably I can just exclude the body parts with the filter meaning mistakes like that become impossible. Right?

I'm playing the league as intended in the endgame, also I'm pretty sure GGG will push the fix before they introduce the auto-pick feature, they are aware that this cannot be implemented if the crashes are still out there.
