Using a tier program is bad and you should feel bad, that's all.
Be a man and play without macro, or play SoftCore then.
If you really want to keep your "safe" button, ask GGG to implement it as a shortkey ingame.
The fact that you use a tier program to escape deadly situations is bad, for you and for the game you play.
The fact that GGG accept this macro and not the others is bad either.
They should remove it or implement it in the game as a feature if they want to do more events in HC SSF.

I'm a standard player at heart and always will be but Hardcore has always been something i respected... Until this logout macro crap came into view and since that point all i have been able to see is a bunch of people using the system to pretend they are hardcore.
Hardcore is supposed to MEAN SOMETHING and back in the day when i did play hardcore it still meant something, The interactions i had there shaped my future in standard and beyond, I went from being a completely clueless noob to actually trying to understand wtf i was doing.

Other things do need to be corrected as @FRUZ mentioned though i disagree with him on a cooldown for the macro and think it should be removed entirely that is not without concern for the cause of the need for using it, those issues also need to be correctly addressed before it can be removed.
Dying from some lag that is in no way your fault at level 99 in hardcore for example must be an absolutely soul crushing experience that only the most dedicated hardcore players have been able to live with.
Hopefully the new engine brings performance gains both in the network and hardware enough to warrant its removal and perhaps a revival of a true sense of pride for hardcore players especially those who do not use the macro and are stained by the actions of those who do.
Edit: @FRUZ i'd be totally fine with them putting a combat timer required to cooldown before placing a portal, It would ceartainly suck for me now and then but thats on me for going into a fight i was not prepared for.. for whatever reason.
I've ran from more than a couple of fights using a portal when i would have surely died, its also cheap AF considering in standard/league we just respawn, It's only fair if the HC logout method is removed imo.

This person has absolutely no clue how to play HC. Do you think logout macro is a one button god mode in HC? Logout macro is only useful when your ping spikes, you freezes or you need to attend to something immediate for whatever reason. Logout macro will not prevent one shot death, dying from an unexpected burst damage or normal mobs crits and 2-3 shots you. Its really easy to post in forums when these people are so ignorant about HC. Play in HC metamorph this league and I bet these people wont even make it to 16 challenges and quit HC.

Tbh and not being rude. Playing in hc and doing real content and not just low level farming takes way more skills vs playing in SC. More so doing end game bosses.I mean if you want to bring your level 100 3k hp meta build in your SC, Please feel free to try that in hc and post your experience here. Will wait ^^.

Did you know that you can't check the challenges if it was completed in HC or SC in a particular league? Did you also know that there is no time stamp as to when you completed the challenge? Can't do anything if you don't use some common sense.

Pretty much your the way you construct your criticism comes from 0 experience in hc.
