The chat on the twitch live event was one of the most horrible thing I ever seen in my whole "online gaming experience". And just to be clear, I've played my first online game back in 1998 (Ultima Online) when most of these people were probably still in the sky waiting to be alive. I've started playing 6 months ago, never really got into forum cause of time/age. The average topics and behaviour in this forum is very very low and toxic.
Anyway, I've watched the stream (not very much into this Twitch thing, only used a couple of time), very happy for 4.0 and absolutely enthusiastic about 3.9. Didn't get any free pixel till now. No problem at all.
Last thing: I'm a lawyer, if you accuse with no proof someone to attempt to scam you, you can be persecute.
Just saying.
I am honestly really amazed at people not understanding what the problem is. yes it was a scam. they knew the drops were bugged, they did not openly admit that to the community because they knew the viewership would plummet. so they covered it up with "hey we doubled the drop rate!" which is debatable. they had a scheme put together to keep people viewing the entire stream: rng loot rewards. they were dishonest about their scheme properly working/actual odds as support on day 1 said it was bugged, then on day 2 said everything was fine. I have posted a poll that shows at least 1800 people tuning in for 16 hours and 78% of them getting nothing.
go look up the definition of scam. because that is what this is. also if you really are a lawyer it is absolutely pathetic that you can't understand from a public relations standpoint how any of this is bad or at least unprofessional
I'm not judging GGG behaviour in this case. The only thing I can possibly say is that they are lacking in communication.
But that's not the main point of my post.
People are raging, accusing of being scammed, quitting the game and what for? Because of footprint mtx? Really?
And about the scam or not scam... For what I've read they are sending mtx to many people. Delayed free mtx.
If it was a scam scheme, would they MANUALLY send them today?
Unprofessional, bad, pathetic or whatever are a thing.
Scammer is on another level.

Most people who didn't win didn't actually have a chance to. Twitch simply didn't detect most viewers. As in the chance could've been 100% and they'd still not get anything because of a common Twitch Drops bug.
Like, you literally were not being considered for rolls. Do you not read what people say?

youre right, its not like there is a bunch of evidence that this whole event was unfair or bugged from the beginning and that was covered up. we should just let big companies lie and manipulate their fanbase/consumers however which way they please. I feel so disgusting for actually pointing out something unfair/unprofessional that upset a lot of consumers/players.
seriously, did you even read what you wrote? did you read my original post? its not that I didn't get anything. its that the entire thing was broken and covered up/lied about. blizzard did this same shit not too long ago by making fans front the 500k bill for a prize pool that they said they would put said amount of money in. at last second they changed their minds and said "nope this is how it is now". they got huge backlash for that, it's why d4 was "leaked" in the first place, to distract from the horrible PR.
GGG has basically done something extremely similar with this stunt, except people are blinded by either ignorance stupidity or whiteknighthood to call them out on it. don't be a bootlicker

you have a chance of 3% everytime, it does not add up. Even if you repeat for 1000 tries, its still possible you never won.

I think he's dumb and this entire thread and his other one are massive piles of horribly gross shit. But he's right about that. It'll never reach 100% but there was less than a 2% chance of not receiving something.
Need a new signature, cuz name change. I dunno though. I guess this seems fine. Yeah, this is good.

I woke up to 2 drops in my messages this morning. Number of wins are much higher than the crying people are saying, you just have to wait for the backlog to clear out.

I hope they will backlog a lot of rewards... To make this much rage in community coz of worthless mtx and view count is not worth at all. Been watching con for fun, but still... man it feels bad when u get promised something and then u get nothing at all.
