Was the twitch scam intentional or unintentional

the point is you weren't promised anything. stop thinking that way

what the actual fuck? how can people be so delusional to the point they actually believe there is a problem, and its a big enough problem to put up such a fuss?
I believe unintentional. They give us free MTX all the time so it's not like they are stingy - my belief is some gremlin in system.

You guys upset you watched and didnt get anything from the talk and were only there to get MTX shoulda just launched it and walked away like I did at my desk. This way whatever.
Git R Dun!

They were promised the opportunity to roll for the chance of getting rewards.

The system broke, as usual with Twitch Drops, and most people were not detected as eligible at all. Chance could've been 100% and they wouldn't have gotten anything, because it's broken. Shoo.

that's still and error in twitch's end something GGG cant control, and it has been a known issue with twitch drops for awhile now. So should GGG just not have done the promotion at all since there is an issue they have nothing to do with? Should they have out a disclaimer saying there is an issue they have no control over that might not make it where you can receiver twitch drops? If they did put out said disclaimer would it really have affected people watching? It's not like you know if you have a bigger account or not.

They should've set a minimum floor for rewards as a means of a safety net for the people who had a guaranteed chance to get fucked by a technical issue GGG were aware of prior to the event. As it stands, if you were unlucky enough to be part of the thousands of people who were affected by the technical issue, you just don't get shit. Despite having no way to know you're part of the group that got dicked unless you received something.

At a certain point I simply wish people would just shut the fuck up with this whole "Muh you're entitled" "Muh it's a free event" "Muh it's just bad luck" when the reality of it is, most never had any chance to begin with and were left completely in the dark.

No public statement, no announcement, no compensation, fuck all. You get hit by a common Twitch Drops bug? "Tough luck, eat shit. -GGG"

Even if they set a minimum it wouldn't have fixed the error with twitch not recognizing someone as eligible.

Wow no shit you absolute genius, however there still would've been a certain degree of reward for those affected by the issue. You give it for logging into the game during the event.

Narcissism? Wow, that escalated quickly. Good riddance.
