Was the twitch scam intentional or unintentional

The rewards were an incentive to watch their stream, if you automatically got one just got logging into the game where would be the incentive? It wasnt designed so everyone gets a prize, so why would they give one to everyone with an account? That could potentially be hundred of thousands of dollars lost. Obviously to complex for someone like yourself ti understand since instead of formulating an argument you resulted to insults.

You, nor I, nor anyone else were entitled to any free mtxs for watching the stream. It was always a chance based thing, and it appears you drew the short straw, sorry bud better luck next time. For now just suck it up and move on
I watched...didn't get shit. I'm amused by the amount of toxicity this has caused but not surprised. I'm not here to claim I was scammed, nor am I here to admonish those who feel they were. The reality is, the system was broke and most were not even eligible because of it. This is on record. As far as I am concerned, GGG is culpable to the extent that they knew and did nothing to ensure a fair way to distribute prizes to those who did spend their time watching the stream in support of POE. It was to my mind, a mistake to advertise a possible benefit to watching if the system used to track those who watch was broken to begin with. Questionable move at best, which begs the question, was it for views?

By "advertise", I mean hyping the chance to win a prize. They didn't scam anyone per say because there was no money involved, so I get that side of the argument. However, it clearly was a point of aggravation and understandably so, for those who watched, and did not get what by all likely hood they would have, had the system been functioning correctly. So it should be easy enough to understand why many if not MOST are pissed. At the end of the day, it doesn't matter. However, I feel GGG should compensate all players at this point as an act of good faith. It literally cost them nothing to give away effects. Not to do so at this point might prove more costly.

Having said all that, I'm a little salty over it. Not surprised though.

Imagine non-ironically arguing against people who are complaining about Twitch Drop bugs that renders people ineligible for absolutely no reason. Why is it so difficult for you to comprehend the fact that most who didn't win didn't "Draw the short straw", they literally had no chance to ever win anything because of a common twitch drops bug that doesn't detect them as eligible. "Potentially be hundred of thousands of dollars lost"
You don't lose anything by giving out digital assets. It doesn't cost them anything. They've done it in the past, AKA free celebratory lootboxes. Besides, giving a 1 crate reward floor would've "cost" them less than doubling drop rates. Imagine your brain right now, must be blown right? They could've done the same here rather than completely rely on a known flawed system which has had one of the worst reward redemption track record in history of gaming. Educate yourself by looking up Twitch Drops history with DE/Warframe - [Removed by Support]

Support literally admitted that there was an issue on Twitch's end which created the inegibility problem. [Removed by Support]

The rate as to which I've been posting has nothing to do with the drops, it has to do with naysayers spreading misinformation. They think the complaints are based on odds, when the actual issue is that the system was broken & GGG admitted to it in support emails.

I don't care about the drops, I care about things being done and defined properly. If GGG addresses the twitch drops bug publicly within 24 hours I'll personally go out of my way to send a ticket asking GGG to delete all MTX from my account. Deal?

i was so mad as well that i didnt get anything for watching the entire stream but ggg has seemed to have made up for it by giving me drops today. a day after it has ended do thank you ggg for making up for this.
Watched every minute. Zero Drops. I'm very disenchanted with the the entire Con at this point; Would have saved lots of time by just watching the panels after. I'm not impressed with the Con or the future of the game at the moment.
