PoE 2 servers are restarting in: .
They should be back up in approximately .Did the PoE 4.0 announcement meet your expectation?
The difference is though. Besides the amazing trailer. Nobody said Diablo 4 is so huge that it needs to be announced at its own Convention. Nobody hyped up Diablo 4 at all. |

" the old character models from the 10 act campaign will be the same as the poe 2 ones in the end right? |

" for a old poe player this is huge (for me)... for a guy who plays 10 games and is just trying this one, maybe he does not understand the complexity of the changes made but even just watchign the gameplay and graphics... it is still the best arpg, why would you not hype it. " Yes , that is what i lean towards to from what i heard so far in the streams. I suppose they are in the process to rig all MTX/characters as they see fit so they work together without glitching out. Masterpiece of 3.16 lore
"A mysterious figure appears out of nowhere, trying to escape from something you can't see. She hands you a rusty-looking device called the Blood Crucible and urges you to implant it into your body." Only usable with Ethanol Flasks |

" I'm not really sure if it -is- the best. It is a great ARPG no doubt and has lots of unlocked potential and is the most frequently updated. But it is also often a buggy mess and has way too many particle effects on the screen. Grouping is an absolute nightmare because of that and its loot system. I can say that poe is my favorite ARPG Sure, but speaking from a perspective that is unbiased I'm not sure I can call it the best.. Every 3 months it enters a state of such unpolished gameplay that it is effectively an Alpha or Beta. |

I had no real expectations so I am rather surprised by the sheer amount of content and stuff they are working on but it´s too early to judge 4.0
Reworked graphics looks great but I am more worried about new gem system and all the current problems (power creep, screen clutter, loot, risk x reward, balance, trade etc). I would probably prefer PoE 2 being new game with different approach (more dark, hostile with slower combat etc) as opposite to the current PoE. Last edited by Rakiii#5559 on Nov 17, 2019, 5:38:28 AM

The item management in PoE and trading were not on the feature list which was a huge letdown for me, but I understand they can only do a few major things at a time.
And let's be clear they aren't just announcing PoE 2 with all the content done and are doing polish. I'm pretty sure it was said in an interview they still had several acts and boss encounters still to do. And other stuff. So yeah for something that's in development the demos, gameplay, interviews and information we received was very high quality. |

Right so I expected upgraded visuals, and either a serious do over of maps or a new alternative to maps, and lastly heavily reduced loot explosions. What I was hoping for but extremely doubtful if they'd do, was shapeshifting, spears, and moving skills out of item sockets. I've actually been wanting that one for years.
You have NO IDEA how pleasantly surprised I was! Getting 19 new ascendancies along with a whole new campaign on top of it all is something I wouldn't even have dreamed of, but I'm SO DOWN for it. Metamorph pales to any of the other stuff but build-a-boss sounds super fun too. I was cautiously optimistic about Diablo 4 two days ago. Now it seems so insignificant it might as well have been an announcement for Barbie Horse Adventures 3. |

" Bro I think you watched the Diablo 4 announcement and got confused... They are literally changing everything about the "core gameplay"..From changing how mapping works, how skills work, how gear works, adding a shit load of new ascensions, completely redoing character models and movement... You probably watched the initial trailer and announcements and didn't listen to any of the Q&A that explained ALL the new changes coming. There were a LOT more than just what they announced at first. |

i have mixed feelings.
what i was hoping for was that 4.0 could be the big clean-up of the existing game, now we get a second campaign. and the change of the skill-link-system gives me some negative vibes, al least until i know how the translation from the existing system into the new will be in detail. losing all the 6-links without some kind of compensation would be a heavy strike for my enthusiasm, most of the time im a standard ssf dweller and those 6-links are the quintessence of my general progress-feeling. "don't worry GGG, it's ok!"
