wrongspeak? is that some kind of Xchan vocabulary? Can i use any word as prefix for speak? goodspeak, badspeak, idiotspeak? and what exactly has the ownership of tencent to do with the blizzard banning story? Is this an us reflex to anything attacking their sovereignty(currently china). You know pooling the perceived evil^^
On topic through: There are the TOS and the code of conduct. Everything you want to know will be found there.
Not sure if you wanted to demonstrate you don't know the reference, but in that case you suceeded?
It's a term derived from "newspeak" that orwel used to demonstrate how you can shift the definition of a word by constantly using it for the opposite in his novel 1984.
For example, in that novel there is an institute called "the institution of love and peace" which is actually the institution that handless warfare and torture.
It's the same technique utilized today when people call ben shapiro a nazi for example or bernie sanders a communist. It hollows out the actual meaning of those terms by constantly applying them to innacurate things or their opposites.
Another example would be turkey invading northern syria and calling the operation "peace spring", which is also the exact opposite of what they are doing in that region as demonstrated by the current body count.

the prime example of this is "racism", a word that has so thoroughly lost any intrinsic meaning I flat out refuse to use it without the "". same thing obv. also happens with other -isms and -phobias (btw, phobia means FEAR, not HATRED. nobody is afraid of e.g. gays), strongly contributing to the linguistic decline we experience in this age. yes, (Western) people actually forget how to use their own languages nowadays, and obviously also something predicted by Orwell. and it's happening insanely quickly too!

what would you like to say?
you know what i think is funny. when all these conservatives and people scream about censorship.
Why are you taking a particular political standpoint on this by identifying a particular political viewpoint?
Did you not read the GGG Code of Conduct?
Please do not:
● Make hateful or needlessly negative comments
● Discuss inflammatory topics, such as Politics or Religion
It's equally improbable that all conservatives are for free speach just like it is improbable that all liberals and democrats are against it.
I mean free speach is intrinsically a liberal conception and a tool of the democrats to allow minority's to speak up, i'm sure many of their ranks still remember how racial appartheid was abolished and what the most powerfull tool of that movement was.
It feels entirely alien to me how people can preach the opposites of martin luther king and call themselves liberal or democrats.
From the contents of your character straight down to racial traits being primary in a matter of years.

Why do you bother? At some point you have to understand that arguing with people who have no foundation or have obvious fallacies as their foundations yields in no fruit.
Subjectivism is by nature ignorant and cannot be subdued; neither can you argue against the fallacy of authority.
At least you tried!

The topics he handles are some of the darkest tendency's of the human nature and it's "finest moments" in history and the amount of people that read him seems to suggest he isn't boring in delivering that message either.
It's obviously your opinion, but without a contrast i cant really make much of it.
I guess that's my way of asking, what do you find interesting and mature?

I 100%, for my own sanity and status of my forum posting priveldges, do not want to know the answer to this.

it was clear what i meant in plain text, but not what i believe or what my views are, buddy. you're the one assuming that based on my position on this one scenario. an assumption you couldn't be more wrong about, but im sure you know my views better than me amirite
lol
see, this is why conversations like this can't exist - because the topics are so polarized its completely black and white. one side is fully right and the other side is fully wrong no matter what.
yeah that isn't how it works, but have fun with that!
i do just need to abstain from reading crap like this because my brain cannot handle the overload of hypocrisy, contradictions and idiocy

I think its fair to assume most people found his post and diatribe in poor taste.
That doesn't mean there wasn't a nugget of valid criticism in it.
And i assume you instigated it by your comment about it being a non-issue that conservatives are getting bans from financial institutions.
You basically threw a stone in the tribal warfare and got a response in kind, nothing out of the ordinary though his conduct could have been "better", let's go with that.
Getting banned in this day and age from global financial institutions and being blacklisted in those and affiliates is no laughing matter, i don't care which political opinion you hold i wouldn't feel glee about those people speaking up.
That's the same level of poor taste olympiacoz demonstrated.
