Same as with the blighted maps, I guess You did not self found the 100(+) blighted maps, which is also a huge RNG-gate this time (I sit at 35/100 after almost 300 hours, doing and succeeding at each and every map pump event).

I bought the maps and did majority of them on my own. I only invited my friends to pickup the loot or to have some fun together. I would avoid it if it i wasnt sick of delving. But i think its a cool challenge especially when you have things to do and you got your minions doing your job for you.

How much did you spend buying Blighted Maps? Did you find any that you preferred to do as a solo character?

I bought like 50 from 1 person and 30 from another and that was that. I did whatever low tier i can find as a solo. Probably found 5 exalts doing them solo.

When the differentials are "real players" and "challenge buyers" you are indicating that "challenge buyers" are NOT "real players", hence indicating something negative.

Stuff like kill 32 named rouge exiles, or defeat chayula outside her domain are kinda rng based. Yes, in both cases you're able to boost your luck a little by using sextants/prophecies/scarabs but still you have to spend those ressources (and time) and hope for the right result.

oh yea i forgot about them. What i did in many leagues now i focus on the heaviest grind challenge and let the rest of rng challenges handle themselves on their own. I do play with the style of getting most out of each map so they spawn randomly.

I understand your point. For someone that aims for 40/40, it seems clear. But for someone that thinks about just doing 24 or maybe investing some more time for 36 in order to get the next mtx, these RNG challenges can be kinda frustrating. Especially if you got 31/32 Rouge Exiles and seek days for the last one.
You say Prison Cell, I hear 'Holiday'.

Ty for clarifying i now understand how this rng might be an issue for players who do not aim to go for 40.

I find the challanges quite difficult this league, very RNG based.

I yet have to get a 8 lane blight encounter, at 134 Atlas and Level 93. Still miss a couple of rare and unique encounters too. Even Rogue Exiles :(

Just want 24 for the portal!

Permanent allocation helps here. you still see what drops for others, but only 1 person can pick it up.

Yeah, that's true, but it's not a solution, not even at all.

Currently the allocation of loot is just random, player 1 gets the first, player 2 the second... not in any way balanced out to give both roughly the same amount.

Since content in PoE needs always investment (maps, fragment-sets, sulphite) a group of players simply reduces the amount of investment needed per player while also increasing the chance of getting respectively good loot out of named content.

This then further leads to a MASSIVE disparity between people playing in a group and people playing alone. A great example of that is Empyrian. He focuses on group-play and by running content together they are easily able to pool their ressources to get several mirrors worth of profit in less then a month of the league, repeatedly.

A proper group-system gives incentive to play together (supporting each others builds) while not trivializing investment of content.
This can only be done if each respective content above 'normal' maps are player-restricted.

As an example: If you open a map which is corrupted and has 130% quant on it then that should be the absolute limit of what the group can even profit off. At the current situation though the group also profits from added fragments, scarabs and masters of the player... not to speak sextants.

A solution for this would be to let the system discern upon creating any map which mechanics are viable to drop loot for which player. Hence the following:
Map is done with a breach-scarab and a niko-master. 4 players.
Owner of the map obviously profits from all of those mechanics.
Player 2 decides he wants to get some niko-juice too... now, he has to invest a master-point he saved up as well, getting the sulphite no matter where in the map he is at the moment... though since he didn't add the breach-scarab they don't drop loot for him and only provide xp.
Player 3 does it the other way around, he's nearly at sulphite-cap, even if he opens niko he won't gain any sulphite AT ALL while the players having invested do.
Player 4 doesn't invest anything, hence he neither gets sulphite nor item-drops from the breach.

This way puts an end to rotations (which are a major bother) while bringing groups and solo-players roughly on the same page, also it takes care of being able to just 'grab' some challenges as a side-effect. Sure, group-play has still incentive in the form of extra xp and overall better loot for the whole group... though it wouldn't be as grossly overdone as it is now.
Heck, back in Betrayal properly set up groups could farm a full HH-set with 50 maps of burial chambers by stacking scarabs properly together with prophecies and the right sextants. It was ridiculous. Solo-players on the other hand need far beyond 1000 maps commonly, the difference is just too darn big there.
GGG balance is like getting a pizza which is burnt on the sides, raw in the middle and misses the most of the toppings.
Then upon sending it back you get a raw side, burnt middle and enough toppings to drench everything in grease.
Everything fixed but still broken.
I think the challenges I have not completed are BS.

They are not challenges. They are tedious, time consuming, nonsense.

I planned and built my character. I then find:

- This is impossible because I don't do chaos damage only. Had I built a chaos damage only character it would be no-brainer, automatic easy.
- This is impossible because I kill too fast or don't do single target. Had I built around a single target skilled that added AOE via a gem, it would be no-brainer, automatic easy.
- This is no-brainer, automatic easy, but I'm not repeatedly doing 100, 150, or 525 times over, etc.
- Etc.

As soon as I see more than 4 of these in the challenge list, I'm done, because these are stupid, and not fun.

I wouldnt call them stupid. Some are just grinds which is perfectly fine. Challenge is to be patient and willing to play the game long enough.
